You emerge onto a busy street- your life. There is a cacophony of sounds all around you. Do you hear chaos? Or music? 🤔

Our lives can feel so full of 💥noise 💥 The sounds on the street don’t change, but we can find a way to reconduct the noise into music- with loud love and little infinities. Have you ever found yourself in a moment of infinity- where time stood still? ✨ Share in the comments!

Our moment of infinity is standing in a crowd at a local music event. I look around and see bliss on the faces of the crowd as they connect with that which allows us to remember why we fight so hard to make it to another day. The soul needs a rinse from time to time. A removing of life’s stress that hangs like tar. A moment to remember life is about more than responsibilities to society. We have a responsibility to ourselves to come as we are- and to try and experience the music all around us.

After taking a moment to prioritize mental health and navigate some life transitions, we're ecstatic to announce our return! It's time to dive back into the world of metal and punk, stronger and more united than ever.

✨ We want to take a moment to recognize that life can throw curveballs, and mental health is something we all grapple with. Life is a stage, and sometimes it goes off script. Remember, you're not alone. There is a community here to listen, to stand together, support one another, and mosh it out as one big family. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the success of our most recent show, Friday the 13th a Slice of Punk! I apologize for the delay.
Let's give a thunderous round of applause to the absolutely phenomenal bands! Isolated Earthlings, Bitter Rivals, and RadDog traveled from afar to grace us with their presence, and damn did they deliver!!! Keep the applause rolling as we also thank our local loves- Chernoff!!

Marc is steaming into town all the way from Vancouver with his other project Isolated Earthlings to probe your earholes with punk rock 'n roll comedy gold! Isolated Earthlings is on a little album release tour for this truly honest lockdown project- one that reflects coping with everything that era threw at us with deadpan humor and personal ramblings. These guys would rather kick the fence down than sit on it, you're all in for a serious treat. 👽

TOMORROW... A SLICE OF PUNK FOR FRIDAY THE 13th...
at The Slice Bar & Grill!

Catch Bitter Rivals from Red Deer Alberta! This 3-piece mixes the nostalgic groove of the 90’s Seattle sound with modern post-hardcore breakdowns and pop-punk songwriting sensibilities to bring you what they like to call “grungecore.” Bitter Rivals formed in late 2021 after meeting at the local Long & McQuade. The trio discovered an instant chemistry, and soon got to work playing Sunday night open jams at the Vat.
They met Brett Tronnes of Proud Dad's Promotions at a Vat jam, and he put them on a bill he had ready for the week after. That kicked off their first year, leading them to play with the likes of Face the Earth, Darryl Saves Lives, and Medical Pilot. Their hard work paid off, and two days before the band's first birthday, they got to open for Red Deer legends Dusty Tucker.
Currently continuing recording efforts and pursuing further live shows, their vision is to revitalize rock by making loud, exciting music that can bridge the gap between generations.

🚨 Are you ready for an all-out live experience, some improv, off the cuff playing and intricate songs full of harmony and progressive structures? 🚨
RadDog is an exciting four-piece rolling back in to open up the night from the backhills of the West Kootenays- where they hone their craft reflecting the tall mountains and clear sky.
RadDog has brewed a vigorous psychadelic space rock experience that is both heady and driving, charged with elements of thrash and classic punk. This outfit has complicated rhythms and a compelling performance created by the combination of two drummers, a bass and guitar with all four members contributing vocals. The guitar, embellished by a variety of effects creates a lush, large sound backdrop to the intricate driven bass lines that RadDog’s hard rocking sound is infused with.

Emanating from Red Deer, Canada, Ho**er Spit is an up and coming Death Metal band with a penchant for writing infectious riffs. Comprising of Vlad Glyegore (Lead Guitar), Devin Link (Rhythm Guitar), José Garza (Bass), Daniel White (Vocals) and Scott Gooding (Drums), the Quintet is inspired by internationally acclaimed bands like At The Gates, Bloodbath, Carcass, and The Black Dahlia Murder.

Crimson Caliber
With a rude, raw and reckless demeanor, Canadian four-piece thrash unit Crimson Caliber blend old school and new thrash sounds and elements into a unique, original and fresh thrash metal sound. With the 2020 pandemic in full swing, the band hunkered down to finish recording on their first full length album, Covenant Tyrannis, which was released March 16th 2021 receiving massively positive reactions.
