Well isn't that just the thing. We set up the pool and new we're expecting rain for the next few days.
Global Underground 24 - Nick Warren - Reykjavik (2003)
Straying far from my current expectations of Nick Warren, Global Underground 24 becomes much less of a dancing CD and mostly a listening CD.
More than half of the first disc doesn't get much faster than 90BPM with some very downtempo and progresses to some smoother Nu-Skool Breaks.
The first few tracks are barely mixed together which I find is a trend among ambient/downtemp mixes though I wish I could have seen a bit more effort. I could see myself relaxing in a geothermal pool, watching the northern lights above.
Disc 02 is much more of what we'd expect from Nick Warren. This mix takes a much more The tracks are dark and moody. Very danceable.
All in all, not 100% my vibe. Disc 01 doesn't flow that well and Disc 02 doesn't do it for me.

-Super Long. Worth the journey. Apparently dropped from the label for release after it was featured on this compilation. Another rare one indeed!
Dream Traveller - Headpusher
-Hints of early Goa Trance buried in a Progressive Groove.
