Hey Swifties- here is a great opportunity to support our local Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes and get some tricky tickets 🙌🩵

Thanks to the generosity of our friends at to Hero K9, the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes is excited to announce a charity raffle offering two tickets to see Taylor Swift live in concert in Toronto on November 21st. The tickets are in section 102B, row 1.

We all know about Christmas Toy Drives......but how about giving a gift that keeps on giving?

Inspiring children to read is a lasting and valuable gift.

The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce is holding our 2nd annual Lindsay Chamber Christmas Book Drive.

Kicking off on Friday, November 15th and running until December 13th. New children's books can be dropped off at our Chamber office at 180 Kent. St. W.

Swing by and we will get a social media picture of your donation.

If in need, Now is the time to register 💗

Christmas hamper registration opens officially tomorrow! Registrations will be accepted between November 1-22.

If you are in need of a hamper this Christmas, you may register at the food bank (30 Peel St.) on Wednesdays (9:30am-1:00pm), Thursdays (9:30am-1:00pm) and Fridays (11am-2:30pm). Please only come to the side door, not through the Thrift Store. If you already have a food bank appointment scheduled during this time, you can register for a hamper at your appointment.

Identification will be required for all members of the household. We will also need proof of income and rent (unless you are a current client of the Salvation Army food bank and your file has been updated this year.)

Making Meals Matter Kawartha Lakes is rolling (see what I did there?) with the talent of Charlene of Board & Nibble Co. (pictured) and her business partner Tammy. They are mixing it up (again, what humor eh?) as they continue to do meals that support those in need of affordable and nutritious home-cooked meals similar to community food programs. They dropped by the Lindsay Chamber office today with another example of those tasty and nutritious meals.
