Many couples say they want a packed dance floor but aren’t sure how to make it happen. A great dance floor doesn’t just happen, it’s created through the right atmosphere, energy and planning! Here’s how to set your wedding up for success and keep your guests dancing all night ⬇️ Be on the Dance Floor - Your guests are there to celebrate you and they will feed off of your energy! If you’re dancing, they’ll feel encouraged to join. If you disappear for too long, they might too! Mingle Before the Dancing Starts - Spend time talking with family and friends throughout cocktail hour and dinner so you don’t feel pressured to do it later. That way, when the dance floor opens, you can be fully present and set the energy! Know Your Crowd - Not every group will dance for 5 hours straight. A 3-4 hour dance floor is the sweet spot for most weddings. Keep guests engaged earlier with fun interactive moments like wedding games, table dash, a photo booth, or a group toast to keep energy high before dancing begins. Strategic Seating Matters - Place friends and family who love to dance closest to the dance floor so they can set the tone. Keep elderly guests or those who prefer conversation away from the speakers for their comfort. Set the Vibe Early - A seamless flow from dinner to dancing prevents guests from losing energy.
