Here’s Buddy’s final recap from yesterday morning before we lost power again! 🙃 Buddy discovered more holiday decor, tried on cozy mittens, smelled festive soaps, appreciated beautiful pottery, played with cat toys, admired sparkly jewelry, and enjoyed art inspired by the sea!

He had a blast making new friends, from adorable animals to charming nutcrackers! He even met Bean from Saltwinds Coffee Company!

He snacked on tasty pretzels, sampled delicious liquors, admired intricate wood carvings and stunning creative glass art, and kept cozy with some comfy slippers and hats.

Buddy discovered so much this weekend, but what he loved most was meeting all of you, admiring your beautiful creations, and savouring the holiday spirit while reminding us to bring more play to our days! 🥰❤️

A Unique Christmas Shopping Experience ✨😅

Yesterday brought an unexpected twist to our day with a planned power outage that went off schedule, and messy winter weather, but the holiday spirit shone brightly as ever! 🕯️🔦 Shoppers and vendors made the most of the situation, using flashlights to explore the wonderful booths and find special treasures in the dark🎁✨
Santa even made a special visit🎅❤️

Everyone’s adaptability, patience and understanding attitude turned a tough day with tough choices - into a memorable adventure!

Yesterday was a reminder of how life is everyday— unpredictable and ever-changing.
Nothing is guaranteed even when it’s planned, so it’s up to us to make the most of the moments we’re in, because the NOW is all we have.
Our attitudes and mindsets can make life a burden, or we can surrender, flow, and see where the adventure of each day takes us!✨

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the best of a challenging day. Your spirits are what make the Lunenburg Christmas Craft Festival so special! 🥰❤️

Buddy was disappointed that the internet wasn’t strong enough to share any photos of his adventures and great finds earlier, he also knew the other matters at hand needed to take priority. He’s hoping everyone made it home safely and that you all have a wonderful holiday season!

As the Lunenburg Christmas Craft Festival wraps up, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event such a memorable experience. Whether you were here to shop, support, or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, your presence made all the difference.

A huge thank you to our talented vendors for sharing their incredible handmade creations, and to the volunteers and organizers who worked tirelessly to make everything run smoothly. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support our local artisans and small businesses, and for helping us raise funds for the PRO Kids program, which will continue to provide opportunities for children in our community. Your contributions make a real and lasting impact.

This event would not have been the same without each of you, and we are filled with so much gratitude for the positive energy you brought. We hope you carry the spirit of the season with you throughout the year, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next year!

Important Update: Early Closure Announcement

Due to the ongoing inconsistencies with the information from NS Power, we have made the difficult decision to close the Community Centre and Curling Club.
The Bluenose Academy will also be closing soon.
