Our Story

Fackered Fest is simply a celebration of music, a really just a reason to throw a party outside, in a beautiful location by the ocean with friends, the beach, games and camping. Some of you may recall the location from the Black top Ball with the Stanfields over the past few years. Bring a tent or RV and YOB and let's get a party on. This is on private land so please be courteous to the land owners and surrounding cottages. The beach is accessible/within view, from the event location and the party will include live music from some great local acts. There will be a food truck onsite and festival and band merch available. Cash only event. Advance tickets are available for $40 at the LBR Variety & NSLC in Barney's River and also from the band members involved. Admission at the gate the day of the event is $40 and includes camping. No reservations needed, just show up and pick a spot. Gov't IDs may be requested as this event is for 19 and above only, also please plan on staying the night to avoid any issues on the roads. The event location is approximately 1 km past the LBR Variety on the left. Mason rd. This year there is a different exit to take due to construction. If coming from Truro/New Glasgow direction, take the Thorburn exit #26 and follow the detour signs to Merigomish. If coming from Cape Breton/Antigonish area, take Kenziville exit #29 and follow that road to the end. Take a right at the stop sign and Mason’s rd is about 1km past the LBR on the left. Come early and stay as long as you like. See you there, now let's get fackered! Fireworks are after dusk on June 30th.
