Whew... outdoor installs: rain, wind, falling backdrop stands, popping balloons, and all the things in between.

If I'm being honest, this was one of the hardest installs I've done. Firstly, doing installs alone is already tough, but outdoor installs alone is even tougher. I budgeted extra time, but I still definitely needed more.

Also, even though I made balloons hover off of the ground - they still popped at the base over and over and over. Moral of the story? Sometimes it just is what it is. Do your best, be gentle with yourself, speak to your clients - and always be honest.

Even with all of the hiccoughs, my client was really happy and I'm happy they were happy 😊. Forever grateful for my clients, who place their trust in me.

I may not be a certified florist but I do love making floral arrangements.

The affinity I have for arrangements comes from my mom, and her mom before her. Mr. NWR Decor says I'm so peaceful when doing flowers.

As I reflect on this, I can see how I transfered this skill to balloons.

P.S. - I am definitely *not* peaceful when doing balloons. But I love them just as much 🎈💞🌹
