Our Cabaret Queen Miss. Rupali came out last Friday for ✨ Midnight Glam Gala: A Night of Magic & Meaning ✨
Held at the opulent Karahi Point in Oakville
Congratulations Royal Media Group and its founder Khrystyna Banakh for this heartwarming evening with proceeds going towards a great cause.
To share the magic of St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) with children battling cancer at the National Cancer Institute of Kyiv, Ukraine, delivering gifts, smiles, and a celebration that will light up their spirits during a difficult time.

It was amazing sharing the stage with exceptional artists and designers from the Ukrainian community with an Iranian sound drummer and Bollywood Blast bringing in a multicultural component.
It was a great time indeed!

ACHIEVEMENT/ACCOLADE NEWS! This one is close to my heart. Amrita Choudhury-didi( (meaning elder sister...in our culture, we refer to our dance teachers with reverence)) was one of my first dance gurus and is my Didi in a pure essence. When hearing this news while traveling, I was over the moon!
Didi is one of the pioneers of bringing Indian Dance to the mainstream public in Quebec, which was not easy in the 1980s-90s. Some of my earliest memories of her when I was around 7 years old included the pride I felt learning and performing on stage the dances of my parents’ motherland trying to navigate in my country of birth at at time where the south asian community was just starting out and our culture was not fully understood and at times not tolerated.
Her creation for the Bengali Conference back in the late 90s which I had the honor to be a part of was aired in the TV Network Doordashan in Kolkata.
She has done so much ... that the list would take up the entire feed.
Didi would simply continue to create, teach, share and live SHAKTI in a way that is rare.
It is TIME that she is acknowledged on a grander scale!
