Dear clients, we will be closed for 3 weeks starting November 14th , until December 5th 2022.

2019 vs 2022

Story time 🥺✨How we scaled up our picnic business

When we launched .ca in 2019, luxury picnics weren’t really known. So we started the business thinking that people would hire us only for small event. I had told my partner that, in my opinion, we needed tables only for about 6 to 10 people at the max 😅 but the first client we ever had, hired us for a 30 guests picnic. Then, hired us for a 50 guests picnic (the one seen in the first picture).

That changed everything for us. We decided to scale up. And had to find solutions for the tables. At the time, we didn’t have the budget to get our custom made picnic tables yet.

As you can see from the 2 pictures, the custom tables we had made in 2020 really improved the aesthetics of our picnics 🤍 Now we have enough tables to accommodate up to 100 guests at the time. 🥳

The lesson for us was that, when you have an idea in mind, go for it. Don’t be afraid to fail. You will find solutions along the way and improve with time.

Full transparency, if you decide to hire 2 different companies to take care of different parts of your decor, make sure that their style and quality of the products they use is aligned.

The last thing you want is a party that doesn’t look cohesive 🙈

Delia & Steph, founders of contacted me a while back to ask if I’d be interested in collaborating. They shared their new business idea with me and all the gorgeous rentals they just had received. My mind was blown away. 🤯 Coincidentally, the same week they reached out, I was actually thinking we NEEDED a business like this one in our area, because up until their arrival, no one offered this type of luxurious

I was even researching about it lol but as we are investing in .ca , I knew it wouldn’t be wise to get into another big expense. So Delia & Steph came in as 2 angels coming from the sky and I’m beyond thrilled to say we will now be able to throw even GRANDER parties tanx to them 🥳

Here’s a sneak peek of one of their products : an 8x8 white pit ball. Big enough for about 4 to 5 adults 😅 We can’t wait to share more with you.
