After visiting with my family in the Eastern Townships I started a painting when I got back to Montreal. The freedom of sketching with charcoal combined with paint has an interesting effect that feels both mysterious and nostalgic.
I love using symbols that have a personal connection that when combined, a story unfolds.
“Shadow”, 10”x14” watercolour on paper.
And “Whispering Wren” 12”x14”.
