We are pleased to welcome 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐧𝐚 to North Bay and the team at Cecil’s, The Grande and the Dessert Factory. Maryna arrived in North Bay in mid-2022 from Mariupol Ukraine after Russia occupied the city. She arrived with her husband and three children aged 6 to 17 years old.
She had 15 years’ professional baking experience in Ukraine before coming to Canada and joining our team. Her specialties include pastries, cakes, all types baked desserts, breads, bagels etc. In addition to creating desserts, she has a flair for decorating.
Outside of work Maryna enjoys yoga, bike riding, sewing, and making porcelain bo***ir dolls and Teddy Bears.
Maryna’s baking and desserts can be enjoyed throughout all our brands either in-house, catered and through take-out on North Bay Eats and Skip The Dishes.
