THANKS to the funtastic turn out at the vernissage/calendar launch/Chef Vachon-tastetacular event on November 11th, we are 'going the whole HOG' announcing the inaugural 'Piggery Holla-daze OINKet '!!! Translation...twill be a Christmassy greet and gather avec a smattering of treats and treasures on tap! Kinda' comme the vernissage /calendar pigg-gig BUT more about famfun feelz cette fois si. We will have a sprinkling of vendors selling some melt in mouth choco delices, handcrafted ornaments /deco et visual art to peruse. Some chaud bevs will be flowin avec some light snackaroonies to savour autour les fire pits. We will même avoir a musical surprise to warm the Christmas cockles and get L’esprit des fêtes pumpin! Our 'lever de fond ' barn sale will also be ouvert to stroll through and peut-être trouver un superbe deal sur a custom cadeau. Entrée gratis mais un petit ' pot de dons' will be sur place if you CARE to spare!! We are commencing a soft campaign to raise the roof/rafters!! The B&B boyz are back in town!!!Yes the legends that are Bowser and Blue are making a return to gig at the Pigg!! We have had a wonderful time in the past with these 2 hilarious chaps and this show Saturday will surely be a memorable soir full of tunes and belly laughs! We are delighted to be uniting with a great group that are raising funds to renovate and restore the landmark that is the St James Anglican Church that sits on the Common in the village of Hatley. It is a beautiful and historic spot that needs some TLC so in joining us at the Bowser n Blue show you will be doing your part in helping keep this church standing in its glory. Just a friendly reminder that the Murder Mystery dinner Theatre soir originally scheduled for tonight will be postponed and moved to a alternate date in the month of July tba. We had such a great turnout and it was a true treat to see so many familiar faces and meet some 1st timers to the Pigg. We have acquired some 'new' antique pieces from some generous donors that are very special and just need some tlc to spruce up. Voila some of the bigger furniture items on the antique front and you won't find better deals on these unique pieces. For the folks who want to peruse the smaller items we always have an array of books, cups/dishes and all kinds of tchochkes. So pop by the Pigg for peek!!As possible incentive to pop by a large print of a painting titled 'Sentier Massawippi' will also be for sale at a very decent discount deal....donated by a VERY local chap who wants to help get the ball rolling on the FUNDraising in support of the Pigg! Friday June 9th the Piggery Theatre will kick off the 2023 season with 'Antique Auction Mystery' written by Mead Baldwin. This murder mystery dinner theatre show will be presented as guests dine on a supper of Ham, varied salads, rolls and a sweet treat for dessert. A cast of characters will surely add some fun to this Friday evening event as the show unfolds over the course of 3 hrs! Tickets are 35$ and we encourage coming to the Piggery just shy of the 6 pm hr. Reservations are required for this FUNdraising soir by calling 819 842 2431 and svp leave a message with the # of people in your group. The Piggery is prepin' for a power packed saison 2023 avec many amazing spectacles on the horaire!!! So to give a tease/ amuse bouche voila a preliminary list of the shows that are locked and loaded on the calendar. We are lucky to have the uber homage acts such as Vintage Wine and Cadillac Music to Hakim, who is fast becoming a Star with his phenomenal interpretations of Elvis standards and other classics de l’époque. We will have loved local Jam-FAM The Porters, who with have tunes on tap en mass!!A Piggery favorite in the vocal stylings of Marie -Claude Dubeau with her stunning renditions of some powerhouse songs that will give frissons for sure!! lets not forget the legendary Bowser and Blue who can't get enough of the Pigg and its Pigglets!!
