One of my favourite things about summer is the vast amount of flowers everywhere. From my neighbours garden, to parks, forests, and city gardens. Everywhere I went, there were flowers 🌻

1 year ago, I officially launched Simply Adorned on IG and let me tell you, the entrepreneur journey is not linear!😂 And that's okay! 😊
Doing everything for S.A. is like growing a plant. I had to set the foundation, provide rich & nutritious soil, plant the seeds, explore the new environment, ask for help, understand my surroundings, sharpen my skills, make mistakes, maintain work, be rooted in my values, be outside, allow time, be patient, look closely, re-evaluate, problem solve, and repeat.
But when you see the stems and leaves forming and evolving to the stages of budding, flowering, and bearing fruits & veggies- oh how exciting it is ☺
Maturity is a process 🌱
I've planted the seeds and it's a pleasure to make backdrops and everything in between.

Since Iaunching Simply Adorned, a lot of exciting things have happened! I've met some very talented and creative people, learned the ropes of Instagram (and still learning!), setup special events, and I still have more events in the coming months. Sometimes, it's difficult to pick one or two colours but with my backdrops, you can choose between 2-4 colours 😊 What colours would you choose?

Her name is Auburn and she's made from sheer fabric.
Don't get me wrong, red is a great colour. It gives off a strong, bold, and passionate vibe but if you want something more subtle, elegant, and soft- Auburn will do it. It all depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to create. She's still part of the Red family 🙂❤
Big or small- it's all part of the process. The athletes competing at the Olympics and Paralympics know this process very well. So remember those small victories matter.
