Music & Market in the Park, OK Falls

Music & Market in the Park, OK Falls Music and Market in the Park is an annual event consisting of typically six dates throughout the summer. The market features local artisans and vendors.

Events are held on Sundays, except for Canada Day which, is held on the actual date.

Music and Market in the Park would like to acknowledge the support from all the vendors, Vic Cullihall (the entertainment), Belich's AG Foods (who sponsored the entertainment), the OK Falls Lions Club, and of course, the wonderful audience who attended today.
We are also grateful to the OK Falls Legion and Ween Wag for providing good food on this day.
Thank-you all for suffering through the heat to stay and enjoy.

Due to the forecast of lousy weather for tomorrow, we are having to cancel Music & Market in the Park in Centennial Park, in OK Falls.
A market only day is now scheduled for September 14, 2025, in lieu of tomorrow's cancellation. We will do our best to find a band and a sponsor for September 14th.
Terribly sorry for the let-down.

This is going to be a great year! Celebrating ten years of free, community concerts, Music in the Park has scheduled seven concerts to make this year really special. Following is the line-up for this year’s concert series:
Sunday, June 22 – Uncorked (Penticton)
Tuesday, July 1 – Memory Lane (formerly Mozzy Lane, OK Falls)
Sunday, July 13 – Blueshounds (Penticton)
Sunday, July 20 – Desert Rockers (OK Falls)
Sunday, August 3 – Bench Boys (Naramata)
Sunday, August 17 – Rebel Luv (Oliver)
Sunday, August 31 – Rumble Seat Revival (Calgary)
The market opens at 3:00 p.m. and the band begins at 5:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, the family and a desire to have a jolly good time.
This is the last year that Tara and I will be able to coordinate the Music & Market in the Park summer program. It’s time for us to hang up our hats and turn it over to others. I would love to talk with someone who has both the interest and the time to take charge of this event. Please offer your help by sending me a PM., and let’s chat.

To further celebrate our tenth anniversary of Music in the Park, we have added one additional event day during the summer. It has been a real joy to see this program gain popularity each and every year. I think I can speak for the Music in the Park founders when I express my gratitude to the people of Okanagan Falls for their growing support and attendance at our music and market events.

Following is the entertainment lineup for the 2025 season of Music & Market in the Park. All events are held on a Sunday in Centennial Park, Okanagan Falls, except for Canada Day which falls on a Tuesday this year. The market will open at 3:00 p.m. and the band begins at 5:00 p.m.

June 22 – Uncorked
July 01 (Canada Day) – Memory Lane
July 13 – Blueshounds
July 20 – Desert Rockers
August 03 (BC Day weekend) – Bench Boys
August 17 – Rebel Luv
August 31 (Labour Day weekend) – Rumble Seat Revival

All the bands have been booked for the 2025 season. The summer line-up will be published in the April edition of Skaha Matters. This is beginning to turn into a grand anniversary, indeed.

We are so excited to begin planning for Music and Market in the Park for 2025. This is the tenth anniversary of Music in the Park and we are gearing up for a very special summer.
Seven concerts are planned for this year with the Market alongside. They all take place on a Sunday, except for Canada Day, which is on a Tuesday this year. Planned dates are as follows:
Sunday, June 22;
Tuesday, July 1, Canada Day;
Sunday, July 6;
Sunday, July 20;
Sunday, August 3;
Sunday, August 17, and
Sunday, August 31.
Come and celebrate with us our 10th anniversary. It promises to be an exciting time!

No one could ask for a better finale than the one we had today. The park was hopping and the kids were having the time of their lives. The energy in the park today was unlike anything I've seen before. It was a hugely successful event. Wait 'til you see what we have up our sleeves for next year, our tenth anniversary of Music in the Park.

Let us extend our gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the 2024 program.
Firstly, our sponsors of the bands without which, there would be no bands.
And in no particular order, we wish to also thank the OK Falls Lions Club, the RDOS, the OK Falls Legion, our many vendors, and last (but certainly not least) the good people who attended our summer events. Your continued support is what encourages us to keep this community event going.

We started early today because we invited the OK Falls Legion to join in on the festivities. Their event was rained out yesterday. DESERT ROCKERS are playing live RIGHT NOW.
There is a bouncy castle for the kids, and a dunk tank for the brave at heart.
We'll be rockin' the park until 8 o'clock tonight. Come one, come all!

Tomorrow's Music & Market in the Park will be joined by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 227 who are supplying a bouncy castle and a dunk tank for the kids to enjoy.
They have also sponsored an additional band to play during the market until 4:00 p.m. after which, Rebel Luv will take the stage from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
We are delighted to have the RCL join in on the festivities.

REBEL LUV is back to rock the park in their grand style. These folks are extremely popular in the South Okanagan.
Bring the family; your lawn chairs; and a few dollars to enjoy the wonderful Market in the Park.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 227 will be serving food, as will Hixxies be back with their food truck.
This is the LAST EVENT of 2024. Let's try to pack the park!
