Hello to all my painting friends!

I’ve just created a separate email for Paint Nights by Lori to help keep contact with all painters with upcoming classes, newsletters and giveaways!

I will collect email addresses from all those who would like to participate during classes from here on out. But if you would like to send me an email now, I can add you to my contacts straight away so you do not miss anything including my Christmas newsletter highlighting the different art projects we tackled in 2023!

We’re going to be doing some fun and exciting new classes in 2024 including paint your pet parties. Don’t worry. As usual, you’ll get a predrawn canvas of your fur baby ! Stay tuned!

At Lake Country Grill in Orillia on Tuesday, December 5th. 5:30-8:30 pm.

The fee is $50 and You will be given a large 16 x 20” canvas similar to the second picture with the outline done in a black sharpie ahead of time for you, all the supplies you need and step-by-step instruction.

Please enjoy dinner at the restaurant or snack during the class as the food is incredible!

I have lots of Christmas decor for sale and almost everything is upcycled: vintage sleds, toboggans, old windows, shovels, handsaws, snowshoes, vintage hockey skates, figure skates, cowboy boots, items made from the roof of a church in Severn that was built in the 1700s and much much more! If you see something you like in a pic please let me know 😊

Paint party at Lake Country Grill on Tuesday, November 7. 530 till 9 PM

Unfortunately I don’t have my demo complete yet due to all these Christmas craft shows I’m involved in but I have started it. In the photo you will see a picture of the finished product, and, you will see my canvas that I have began. I may change some colours slightly 😊

This painting is done with pen and ink. All the black you see is a black marker and then we will use acrylic paints but in a water-based form to add in color. Your painting will end up looking like a watercolour very soft and beautiful.

The cost is $50 which includes a pre-drawn 16 x 20“ canvas. It takes me about 45 minutes to trace out each one, so please if interested, sign up quickly, so I have time to do that part of the homework.

I forgot to take pics at the stencil party last night but I did get these two! Everyone did a fantastic job and everyone finished 2-3 pieces!
Next stencil class is Tuesday October 17. 5:39-9:00 at Lake Country Grill Orillia Over $40 stencils to choose from and price includes all the fabric ribbon etc. to make bows for each piece. Message me if you have any questions or if you would like to register.
