Spent the morning playing with some blooms.

I love using whatever imperfect or older stems I have on hand to practise, play, and create.

It’s a great way for me to test vase life, get creative with what I have on hand, and also enjoy some fresh flowers in our home.

Nigella is quickly becoming one of my favourite flowers. It’s our first year growing it and I am falling head over heels for these unique blooms.

Hello Dear Flower Friends! 🌸🌻🌼

It’s been a very long time since we’ve posted last - life has been a little more hectic these past months than we anticipated. But Spring is here, we’ve been busy starting hundreds of seedlings indoors, and we are excitedly counting down the days until the first market of the season.

We cannot wait to see you on May 21st at

Until then, we’ll be sharing some of our favourite blooms from last season as well as what we are growing for you this year!

Thank you for following along on our flower journey, we love the community and support we’ve found on here, and can’t wait to share this season’s flowers with you.

It’s our sweet girl, Millie’s, 11th birthday today!

She loves following me around in the backyard, giving hugs, sleeping with her tongue out, & snacking on all the fruits and veggies. She’s just perfect and we’re so grateful to have her in our lives.

I didn’t think we would have any poppies this year. Truth be told, I sowed them way too late in the year and thought all was lost.
This morning however, I was greeted by these gorgeous (albeit tiny) blooms in the garden!
They definitely put a big smile on my face and reminded me that nature is full of beautiful surprises.

Hello flower friends!

I’ve realized that in my excitement to share all things floral, I forgot my manners and have never actually introduced myself!

So Hello, Hi! 👋 My name is Sandra and I’m so grateful you are here.
Here are a few things about me.
1. I’ve always loved flowers, and sharing them with others is my love language. I was naturally drawn to growing flowers because I find watching things grow to be very therapeutic.
2. I hate taking photos, but feel most comfortable in my skin when I’m wearing overalls and covered in dirt from a good day in the garden. (And yes, I am sporting a dirt moustache in that selfie)
3. I love all dogs! Big, small and everyone in-between, I just think pups are the best. And we happen to have four of our very own.

Can you ever have enough roses? I’ve added quite a few to my collection this year, but I’m already dreaming of more varieties for 2022.

These are our roses currently in bloom:
1. Hella Climbing Rose
2. Mini Roses started from seed
3. Dylan
4. Mystery Rose that’s blooming for the first time since we’ve moved to this house
5. Second year Mini Roses
6. Bolero
7. Koko Loko (but does she even need an introduction?!?)

Not featured here are Port Sunlight, Blue Nile, and Queen Elizabeth who aren’t currently in bloom but are also lovely additions in my collection.
