Meet your host:

Born in BC, raised in Alberta, this "wild rose " now makes his home in the capital region. Kris is a comic with high energy and talent to tell a hilarious story with many twists. He's been slinging jokes to audiences for over a decade. Kris has had appearance at Dirty Bird comedy featival in '19, Two appearances in the Ottawa fringe festival and was a two-time finalist for funniest person in the Ottawa Valley ('13 &'14) . He's also club regular in the Ottawa area. If laughter is what you're after, you won't be disappointed when watching Kris.

Nominated for best standup comedian in Ottawa in 2020, 2021 and 2022, Wafik is one of the most likable comedians on the circuit, his broad based comedy has a universal appeal. Whether on a dark show or a children's fundraiser his comedy is unique and relatable. Having performed internationally to rave reviews and an extended tour of the UK due to popular demand. His comedy special continues to air nationally and he has radio appearances including BBC radio in the UK. He can be heard regularly on XM satellite radio and was featured on a Just for Laughs compilation album. A favourite at many festivals and has won many international competitions.
