We are beyond grateful to have had Keith as our wedding officiant! From the very beginning, he was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making our ceremony meaningful and personal. He took the time to get to know us, listened to our story, and crafted a ceremony that felt completely us — heartfelt, joyful, and UNFORGETTABLE.

On the big day, Keith brought a calming presence and guided everything so smoothly. His words were sincere, beautifully (& humorously) delivered, and touched not only our hearts but the hearts of every guest in attendance. We had so many people come up to us after the ceremony saying how fun and different it was, and how much they genuinely enjoyed it!

This year, our son-in-law, Vito Michienzi, obtained his credentials as an Ontario licensed officiant and he performs ceremonies exactly the same innovative way that Lynne and I do and with just as much passion.

Vito is very accomplished in presenting to large public groups with over 20 years’ collective experience as a high school teacher, a chaplain, a published author, and interestingly enough, as a professional magician. The wedding ceremonies that he has officiated previously have received the same level of high praise for which Lynne and I are known.

Here is a vendor review of Vito just posted last weekend on the Facebook Ottawa Wedding Questions group from a bride whose wedding was on September 14th:

Besides creating and performing an awesome ceremony experience, we are often asked to help cut down the 12-14 week wait for an official marriage certificate. This is especially critical when couples need to initiate an Immigration spousal sponsorship. We have an optional process that can usually bring the processing time down to 2-4 weeks. This is extremely beneficial and often results in one of the couple being able to legally work in Canada months earlier than what typically occurs.

Officiant: Exceptional Ceremonies Lynne Langille officiated our ceremony and was so incredibly amazing and very kind! She made us feel so at ease in all of our communication. We wanted a very simple ceremony and I like that we got to customize our script and make it our own. I also like that we were given the option to sign the paperwork prior to the ceremony to make things flow a lot quicker. It was important to us that our deceased grandparents were honoured and due to a death in my husband's family that occurred just a few days before the wedding, we unfortunately had to make a very last minute change with the script which Lynne was very sympathetic and understanding about. The ceremony was beautiful and very meaningful to us with a few laughs in the right places.

"First and foremost, I want everybody to know that, quite honestly, we got more compliments from our guests about Keith's ceremony than any other component of our wedding. That alone should serve as a huge advocacy/selling point for Keith. Keith is sharp and funny, but while keeping it all about the love and the sheer "specialness" of the occasion.

Keith is understanding, approachable, and very easy to talk to. He will work with you to make your ceremony perfect, and tailored to you. "Wow ! Words do not even begin to describe how amazing Keith was for our wedding day and all the days leading up to it ! His calmness, enthusiasm, expertise all compiled into an amazing ceremony; we will never forget and wouldn't trade for the world. He customized it to fit us perfectly and it made our ceremony so intimate! all our guests were raving about how personal and amazing our wedding was ! During 2022, we are scaling back the number of ceremonies we perform to achieve more balanced lives. We will still be continuing to work with fun-loving couples who demand the very best and want a truly unique engaging and entertaining wedding ceremony unlike any that their families and guests have been to before. But, at a reduced level.

We have been booking steadily throughout 2022 and all of our bilingual and French only ceremony times with Lynne are now fully claimed. We have a limited number of Friday and Saturday openings still available for English ceremonies, so please inquire asap, in case your date is still available.

Last evening during the 2021 Ottawa-Gatineau Wedding Industry Association Awards, we were surprised and deeply honoured when Lynne was presented with the Tsirmpa Award.

This is its highest honour and recognizes the outstanding commitment and dedication by an individual in the wedding industry for community service.

Lynne was cited for many of her volunteer contributions to the Ottawa community at large throughout the past five decades and for having made a huge difference in the lives of so many others.
