Good day everyone! :)

It has been quite some time since our last post, sorry. Business has been quiet as we are restructuring our core structure.

Good news are that we fixed a DNS issue with our photography division website. Site should be up and running within the next 24-48hrs after propagation. SSL certificates have been updated and we acquired a good number of Microsoft Office365 licenses for each of our employees.

Please keep being patient, we will be back soon after some technicalities.

Good day!

My head is hurting from too many ideas lolol
This laser is so versatile, I could spend the whole day just looking at other people's great ideas.

We have already been approached by 2 separate campgrounds to get their lot number signs redesigned and produced. Someone else also asked us to reproduce a broken wedding glass. These are just some examples that quickly came to us.

Good day!

As part of the new Laser Engraving division, I started producing our own METAL business cards! :D Made of aluminum, they look really sharp, cannot be torn apart, cannot get wet, stands out from other cards too.

Every BSP crew will soon get their own set of cards; black for everybody and a selected color for each.

Starting to look sharp! :)

Good day!

Yet another great addition to our new laser called Air Assyst. This is essentially an air pump that shoots air between the laser output and the material surface. This gives much cleaner cuts, pushes away dust and cools everything down a little. I quickly realized this is essential if we are to produce higher quality things.

Right on! I just received our new laser protective cage. It is quite well built; has 2x laser protective windows, is fire proof, has a venting system for the smoke, etc. Much much better now ;)

More good news! :D Our new laser is amazing, I have been making all kinds of stuff with it already lol. In order to maximize our capability, I just received the extension kit for the D1! This will DOUBLE up our available working surface. This way we can now make much larger items or more of the same in a single pass.

I have GREAT news today! :D

For those new with us, BSP Entertainment used to be called Black Spark Productions, until we merged with the Professional Photography division to become BSP Entertainment.

Well, we will soon officially open a completely new division! :D New services, new equipment, new great offers for all your venue ideas!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the new BSP Entertainment Laser engraving/cutting memorabilia division! We just acquired an XTool D1 Pro 10W and started producing our own marketing material. :)

This piece of equipment is amazing, we can engrave ANY photo, text, logo or else on ANY material (wood, glass, metal, plastic, fabric, ceramic even on food!). This way, we will soon offer custom champaign glasses, photo albums, name plates, table decoration and guests souvenirs they can keep. :)

The list of things we can do with this is endless, seriously. We can now customize anything you would with to keep a souvenir of :D

This new division to BSP Entertainment hadn't been announced yet that we already have multiple contracts lining up! :D

Good day!

We recently celebrated a big promotion for one of our crew members; Marcus Benjamin aka "LLD"!

Marcus has been collaborating with us for many years now. He knows our equipment inside-out, has demonstrated a level of professionalism above all expectations and is a natural leader.

This is why I am glad to promote Marcus from DJ to Production Manager. This will position in to oversee a venue and manage a crew under his authority. :)

It is disco time! :D lol
Our current disco ball was getting old a little and had suffered a couple of drops on the ground so I decided to change and upgrade it. We had a 12" but replaced it with a gigantic 20" (50cm) brand new one!

Now all we need is some disco music ;)

Good day!

OMG These are HUGE!! lol

As discussed in the previous post, BSP Entertainment has been acquiring more and more lighting systems. :) In this case, we needed to have a FULL wall lit up with hundreds if not thousands of lights. So we got these! They are LED lights curtains with (brace yourself) 2000 lights PER LED curtain. We got 4 different colors so gives us 8000 LED lights. That's only part of it; each LED drape covers a huge 8 meters X 4 meters.

This will be perfect for Christmas partys and weddings. :)

As I was explaining in my last post, BSP Entertainment has grown considerably. One of our big investment has been to literally DOUBLE up our existing lighting equipment. This means we have more light spots than you could dream of using in a single event lol. This acquisition is in line with our new business market including very large corporate venues. "Gotta have the right tools for the right job" ;)

Good day!

As I was explaining in the previous post, BSP has been on stand-by ever since the beginning of Covid. Although we were quiet, we kept on growing considerably! I am glad to announce the acquisition of a significant quantity of equipment.

Starting with bubbles! :D LOTS of them lol
Our good ol' bubbles machine died after many years of loyal services. So, we acquired not one but TWO of these! :)

Each can do approx 800 bubbles/min so we stand at approx 1500 bubbles per minute together. Not to be used indoor, unless you want a very slippery floor but outside on a sunny day? Sure! :D

We'll post additional photos when we get to use them next summer.

Good day BSP Entertainment fans!

It has been such a long time since we posted anything here. Rest assured we are very much alive and still active out there :) For the records, we recently managed to resolve an administrative conflict of interest and are now open for business! :D

Covid-19 has been quite restrictive for our business for the past years. Now that everything seem to be getting back to normal, we can once again offer our venue services.

Many things changed since we kept everyone informed and I cannot wait to tell you more in following posts. :D

I am terribly sorry we haven't given more news for quite some time now. Thanks to Covid, our activities are still to a grind halt. We are starting to get some requests for summer 2022 but we still think being safe is wiser than rushing things. We are eager to celebrate with you all soon but would request your patience still in these unique difficult times.

Celebrating the end of confinement!

I am sure everyone of you is eager to get back together, celebrate and have fun. So are we at BSP. The news show large gatherings on beaches and in parks of people celebrating in the sun.

Although we do not endorse going against the law and public safety recommendations, we would like to remind all of you out there that BSP Entertainment will be there for you all when all this is over. :)

Would you want to organize the best party ever for your family and friends, give us a call! We can make it collosal, memorable and quite unique. :)

Can a wedding be happening this summer?

Big question that we have been waiting for at BSP Entertainment. As you can see by the picture, it is all over the news.

Basically, answer is yes and no. Not before fall for sure, outdoors only, limited guests, sitting in family bubbles only, etc. The total number of people allowed is not helping much when you have to include the celebrant, dj, photographer, caterers, bartender, etc.

The wedding industry hopes for larger events next summer but for now only small venues are permitted. My advice? Wait for 2022 when all your friends and family will be allowed to celebrate this unique moment with you instead of a we**am wedding. After all, the love you have for each other will last a lifetime. What's a couple more months waiting... :)

Good day everyone!

The Ottawa Bridal Show is about to start their first virtual edition! Unfortunately it will be without BSP Entertainment this year. Our headquarters are in Ottawa, borders are closed and any large gathering is prohibited which does not leave us any options.

It is clearly impossible to offer virtual wedding photographer services and we are still in progress to develop a viable solution for virtual music services.

On the good side, we are currently working on a Virtual Reality solution! We just acquired several professional VR kits for testing and if it works well, we should be ready to offer stunning live performances again soon. Stay tuned.
