💛 Ben’s Table 💛
Some of my best memories are of sitting around the table with my dad, Ben — the smell of food filling the air, the sound of his laugh, the way everything just felt lighter when we were together. That table wasn’t fancy, but it was full of love.
My dad was the one who pushed me into my very first kitchen job in my early 20s. He believed in me before I believed in myself. Every meal I’ve cooked since then has carried a piece of him with it.
That’s why I’ve named this work of feeding people in our communities Ben’s Table. Because a table isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place where no one feels alone, where everyone is welcome, and where kindness is served without limits.
The mission of Ben’s Table is simple, but powerful:
🍲 To put warm, nourishing food into the hands of those who need it most.
💛 To remind people that they matter, that they’re seen, and that they belong.
🙌 To carry on my dad’s legacy of generosity, hard work, and love.
This isn’t an organization. It isn’t about titles or recognition. It’s just about people, community, and compassion.
🌎 My heart also extends to Guatemala, where I’ve worked with preschool children and families. If anyone ever has clothes donations for kids, I’d be happy to take them off your hands and make sure they get to the little ones who need them most.
And I’m so excited to share that our first Ben’s Table project is happening this Friday at the Guest House Shelter in Midland. Together with Ed Williams and his wife Helen — two incredible people with the heart and passion for this work — we’ll be serving a warm meal to the homeless.
When you hear “Ben’s Table,” I hope you feel what I felt sitting with my dad — full, loved, and never forgotten.
✨ Please help me spread the word about Ben’s Table. The more people who know, the more people we can reach, feed, and uplift — together. ✨
