Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of catering a wedding right on the water — and it was magic. 💍🌊 The sun danced on the waves, the air was filled with laughter, and the whole day carried that kind of joy you never forget. The wedding party and family were so vibrant and full of life that you couldn’t help but smile just being around them.
And then came the food…
Imagine stepping up to the Indian Taco Bar — warm, golden fry bread fresh out of the pan, the smell of smoke and spice hanging in the air. Guests layered their plates high, choosing between:
✨ Seasoned Ground Beef — sizzling, perfectly spiced, and mouthwatering.
✨ Smoked Chicken Tinga — applewood-smoked chicken, slow-simmered in a chipotle-tomato sauce so rich and fragrant you could smell it across the room.
✨ Vegetarian Blend — roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, peppers, and corn tossed in my smoky house spice mix, hearty and flavorful.
The toppings bar overflowed with crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, sharp cheddar, salsa, sour cream, refried beans, and fluffy Mexican rice, with fresh lime wedges waiting to be squeezed over the top. Plates came back heavy, colorful, and stacked with seconds… then thirds. The sound of happy chatter around the tables was matched only by the smell of smoky chipotle, roasted corn, and warm fry bread drifting through the air.
That’s what I love most about this work — it’s not just food. It’s the way food brings people together, creates laughter, and makes memories that live long after the plates are cleared.
