The Madras Air 2 Air Experience is the Pacific Northwest's premier Air 2 Air Photographer's Workshop. The workshop features one of the top collection of vintage warbirds in the country and will take place from August 27-29, 2015 in Madras, Oregon.

The decision is due to the significant expansion project taking place at the Red Deer Regional Airport. This $30 million project is a crucial development aimed at enhancing our airport's infrastructure and services, ensuring a better experience for all our future visitors and stakeholders.

We are thrilled to share some stats from the 2023 Red Deer Regional Airshow! ✈️ This incredible achievement not only showcases our region's passion for aviation but also highlights the profound positive impact the 2023 Red Deer Regional Airshow had on our local community.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our organizers, volunteers, sponsors, performers and the unwavering support of our community, we welcomed approximately 25,130 attendees, raised $12,500 for local nonprofits, and had an economic impact for $2.54 million on our community!

⚠️TRAFFIC UPDATE!⚠️Wondering how you get the this year's Red Deer Regional Airshow?! Here are a few important updates:

1) Construction is underway along Airport Drive. Please abide by all traffic signs and allow yourself plenty of time.
2) Upon arrival to the Entrance Gate please have your Carload Ticket Pass available.
3) Parking Lot Volunteers will direct you to your parking spot in Lot 1 or Lot 2.
4) Airshow Entrance is located beside Scottsville Aviation! There will be no public access to the FBO Terminal.

Entrance Gates open at 10AM on both Saturday & Sunday. Please allow yourself lots of time for travel and parking before enjoying the day!

This is a LIMITED CAPACITY event due to road access; therefore admission is in advance and by the CARLOAD only (up to 7 people per vehicle - a great value for families and carpooling with friends!) Advance admission is required. Get your tickets today by visiting: https://bit.ly/rdrairshow

Just in time for the Red Deer Regional Airshow, this vintage P-40 was painted exactly as it was in 1942 when it flew with the RCAF.

Don't miss seeing this P-40 Kittyhawk take to the sky on July 29 & 30! Retired RCAF pilot Ross Granley will be flying her for you.

🚨 FUN FACT 🚨Ross Granley comes from a large family of pilots. He was born right here in Red Deer, when his father, a well-known RCAF Pilot, was based at CFB Penhold and instructing on the Harvard.

🚨🚁PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT🚁🚨 ��We are pleased to welcome the RCAF CH-148 Cyclone and its amazing crew for a flying demonstration AND static display!

The CH-148 Cyclone is one of the most capable maritime helicopters in the world. It is Canada’s main ship-borne maritime helicopter, and it provides air support to the Royal Canadian Navy.

The Cyclone can be used for surface and sub-surface surveillance, search and rescue missions, tactical transport and more.
