Due to a vehicle issue, we won't be able to attend the CR market tomorrow.

We were really looking forward to taking part and helping people make new, unique buttons, and had signed up for the CR market many months ago.

This was the event that actually set Octavia and Papa on this button adventure, so we will miss you all!

Octavia and I have been having a blast making buttons for Indigenous Grassroots Circle that will be available starting at today's Summer Solstice event at the Rockland Arena (Formerly CHIA arena).

The Button Booth is absolutely honoured to have collaborated on such meaningful buttons. 🧡

The Button Booth has closed up for the day ending the Conseil des arts Prescott Russell Arts Council - CAPRAC market at the Expo Clarence-Rockland

Our first ever.

Having a 4 year old and being disabled I was concerned about how things would work out, but the other artists and the members of the Arts council went above and beyond.

I have many accessibility requirements and even though it is not normal for a vendor to get up and leave their booth I physically and mentally need to and Octavia needed to get around as well.

The entire event was absolutely rewarding, the interactions, the friends, the custom buttons made (absolutely stunning buttons) and the ones we sold have left us with vote memories.

Rockland has the most amazing community.

Octavia and Papa's Button Booth will be at the Expo Clarence-Rockland as a new member of the Conseil des arts Prescott Russell Arts Council - CAPRAC show.

The arts council has been amazing in helping us make this happen, and are grateful to be able to attend.

Our story started a few years ago when I got a button maker for a social awareness campaign I was involved in but it did not really get used.

Then I stored it away.

Our school is hosting a summer festival for students and asked for ideas for activities and I offered to run a button booth, which led to one of the other parents asking if we would be willing to make buttons for their child's gymnastics team.

I let my daughter try to see if she could use the machine and she loved the process so much it became our go to arts and crafts activity.

Since her obsession with buttons and my love of buttons left us with a large amount of buttons and we love going to markets and fairs, I asked if she would be interested in doing our own booth, and now we are hoping to make this a family business that not only creates buttons but fun!

The Button Booth makes all of our pre-made buttons out of recycled products, saving things destined for the garbage and giving them new life.

Any books, comics, or magazines that are in good condition are donated to the Rockland Library.

Because of the way we make buttons out of scraps it is very likely you have a one of a kind button that is as unique as you!

Pre-made and custom buttons are:

$1 for 1 inch
$2 for 1.25 inch
$5 for 2.25 inch

Business, sports teams, fundraising, awareness, no limits!

We are available for custom orders (Minimum of 20 buttons) although the art must be supplied.

We can take old photos and give them new life as a sealed and protected button.

We are available for events where we set up The Button Booth and you can draw your own buttons and we make them on the spot, turn event invitations into button keepsakes... We can work on many different options.
