My Story

Hey everyone! My name is Melissa Michelle Bodnar, i’m 24 years old from St. Albert, Alberta.

Here’s a little about me! I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old; I play on a women’s and a coed team and absolutely love it! I’m a big country music fan and I find it’s a great way for me to relax and helps me power through hours of editing. I also LOVE to go out two-stepping and line dancing at Cook County! I have 2 West Highland Terrier puppies, Jessie and Marley that I love to cuddle and take on adventures with me! I’m a huge traveller and love exploring the world and seeing new places! Traveling is so important to me, i’ve been to over 30 different countries and over 50 cities and can’t wait to add to that list! I also usually give clients a good deal on photography packages just to be able to travel, so keep that in mind *wink *wink!

I graduated from the NAIT Photographic Technology diploma program in 2016 which is where and when I started my business! But photography has been a passion of mine for my whole life. My Dad always liked photography as a hobby, i’d say he definitely helped me get into it and believe that I could pursue a career in this field; fun fact, him and I used to have competitions to see who could get the better pictures of flowers in our backyard! I was lucky enough to be able to steal some of his amazing photography gear when I started school and was even more fortunate to keep it after to help me start my business! I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III and have all the gear to help back me up! I'm so happy I am able to share my work with you!
