Join us on Saturday, March 22, 2025 for a fun afternoon of progressive euchre with the chance to win cash prizes! Adding to the fun is a penny raffle table and a 50/50 draw!

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. at the Merritton Legion, Branch #138, 2 Chestnut Street E, St. Catharines with the progressive euchre tournament starting at 2:00 p.m.

Every purchase supports CI student programs, like the “Food Pantry”, which provides student breakfast and lunch meal options.

Donations of nonperishable food items for the “Food Pantry” are greatly appreciated and will be accepted at the door, such as cereals, canned soups, granola bars, cup of noodles and canned ready to eat pasta.

Drinks are available at the cash bar. This is a cash only event as debit and credit cards are not accepted. This event is limited to attendees aged 19 plus.

The St. Catharines Collegiate Alumni Committee is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Niagara Community Foundation!

This generous contribution will support the creation of the "St. Catharines Collegiate Fitness and Wellness Centre." Our committee is committed to further fundraising efforts to purchase exercise equipment for the centre and to support the "Food Cupboard Project" through our upcoming events.

We anticipate the completion of the Fitness and Wellness Centre by June 2025.

This centre will offer students a well-supervised, after-school space, free of charge, where they can engage in social interactions while cultivating healthy exercise habits that benefit their physical and mental well-being in a safe, inclusive environment.

In collaboration with the St. Catharines Collegiate administration and staff, we are dedicated to these fundraising efforts. Since its inception in 2000, the Niagara Community Foundation has raised over $86 million in permanent endowment funds, granting over $31 million to various charities in the Niagara region, spanning arts, heritage, environment, social services, health, education, and community development sectors. NCF is a bridge connecting donors to causes, transforming intentions into tangible impacts.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to NCF for their generous support of our CI students.

Happy Holidays, from the St. Catharines Collegiate Alumni Association! Thank you for your continued support throughout this academic year! Because of your generosity, our students have been equipped with fantastic new resources!

We have added a new score clock for the gym, Chromebooks, an indoor fitness cycle, a commercial stove, a robotics kit, as well as graduation awards and financial support for fundraising initiatives.

But our commitment doesn't stop there! This past year, we provided ongoing support to CI’s Food Pantry Program which assists students and families experiencing food insecurity. As the holiday season approaches, we are asking for your help in donations in advance of the upcoming two-week holiday break.

You can donate by dropping off non-perishable food donations or a cheque payable to St. Catharines Collegiate Alumni Trust at the main office of the school on or before December 18th during school hours.
