Hi folks it has been a while since we posted. We want to clear up a few things for some folks. We will be adding a FAQ page to our website but we wanted to politely address a few issues here.
First- We send a confirmation email to everyone. It is automatic. The system sends it and is sending it. I have confirmed it is working. Some folks are saying they did not get one. I will not say that is untrue but it was sent. If you did not get it you may have spam filters that are blocking new business emails and if that is the case you will need to address it. Some ISPs have been known to scan and block emails as well. This may or may not be the case I do not know.
Bottom line if you have a PayPal receipt we received your order. If you did not get one you should then check your card to see if you were billed. If you were billed but do not have a receipt Palpal or human error with you punching in your email may be the issue. We are here to help but We simply do not have the time to diagnose your computer issues. We need to be able to communicate with parents who have allergy concerns as this is their child’s safety. Your computer issues are a problem that would be someone else’s responsibility to fix. If I have time I will help but I cannot be your tech support all the time. If you completed your booking by finishing the payment from PayPal then you will get an email receipt from PayPal saying you sent the money however if you do not complete the payment you will get an email saying the timeout period expired and your payment did not proceed. This is an automatic process and it works. If you did not get a PayPal email odds are you did not complete the process or there was an error. Next we send the confirmation and it has some steps such as how to get your invitations as well as waivers we need filled out. Please read your emails. The links are on our website to the waivers.
The bottom line here is we are very busy and we thank all of you for that but that also means we do not have time to answer questions already answered on our website. The info is there please go read it. We have a website for booking and the availability calendar as well as the insurance waiver links. We are here to help but we cannot keep answering the same questions because people do not take the time to read their emails or read our website. We cannot spoonfeed is the basic point. By all means if you need help and have looked both in our emails and on our website and cannot find the info then please call us as we do not want you lost. But we also need the lines open to help people who need help not just those who did not take the time to find the answers themselves. This info is not hidden it is there. Thank you for your time and we thank you all for our success.

Hello all. I wish to share a link to a Go Fund Me page. The family father has passed away suddenly and the young family is devastated. I hope that anyone who can afford to donate please take a moment to think. If you suddenly passed away how would your family continue. How would your children make do financially without you while your partner grieves your loss. I have donated and intend to help in any way I can. Please help with this campaign if you can. We never know when our time with people ends so try a little harder to let things that bother you just bounce off of you. Well it has finally happened. We are ready to reopen after the Covid downtime. Finally the government of Ontario has allowed us to open at full capacity. So we are now taking bookings starting Nov.13, 2021. There are a few things obviously that we need to now do differently. One is any adults that will be staying in the building during a party must have their Vaccine passport. This is something we must do not something we are arbitrarily doing. Also masks must be worn unless eating or drinking onsite. Also we will have posted a link to fill out a waiver as well as a link to Screen for Covid exposure. These links will be available to be filled out online as well as we have provided a few tablets onsite to complete these forms. They take about 5 mins to fill out and it is best to do them online at home before coming to a party. The link must be filled out no later than 24 before the party. As the questions ask if I’m the last 24 hours have you been exposed. Obviously if you filled it out on Monday it would not be valid on Friday so you can not fill the form earlier than 24 hours prior to arrival. Hello all. It has certainly been a challenging 18 months for sure. We at Jungle Jim’s would like to update folks on our intention to reopen as soon as possible. We are in the process of fixing some neglected areas for the last few months. As welll most of our supplies have needed to be replaced and much of our equipment needs fine tuning after so long of a down time. All of this is being done but a small business that has had to pay ALL of its bills for 18 months with zero income coming in things will take some time. We hope to be open soon however we do not wish to rush. When we open again we want it to go well and not have any disruption after we do. We expect in the next few weeks to open again after so long a downtime. We appreciate everyone”s support through the last few months as well as all these years. We would not be where we are without all of our great patrons. This has always been a labour of love to us and we will continue to treat everyone as family just as we always have. We will make further announcements to let you know as the date gets closer to our reopening. Thanks again to everyone.

As a friendly gesture Jungle Jim’s will be open for public play on Saturday March 27, 2021 from 12noon-5pm. Admission will be free however you must book a spot by calling 905-685-5467. Each person granted entry will be able to stay for 90 mins at which time they will need to leave to allow someone else to enter. We will only allow 20 people in the building at any given time besides myself. This has been a long year due to the Covid-19 health issue and the kids of this world have suffered. They need some playtime and we Jim’s want to assist. Please do not arrive without being confirm as a spot reserved for you as admission cannot be granted without prior confirmation. Email bookings will not be granted as Demand will be high and a verbal confirmation must be granted. We thank you for your patience and assistance in making Saturday a great time for the kids who sorely need it. See you there and remember “It’s a jungle out there!”

Ok folks due to many families wanting a safe place to play and not wanting the potential of a non “bubble” contact bumping into them a jungle Jim’s is unveiling a smaller package. We will be hosting nuclear families by appointment. What is included? Up to 2 adults will be included and 2 children will be included. As always on site beverages will be unlimited and a 12-slice pepperoni and cheese pizza will also be included. This play date is for 2 hours and the cost will be $100. An additional child may be added up to 4 total Children with the additional children being $20 each. So the max group size is 6 and the children must either be siblings or be living with the family. These restrictions are meant to align with the provincial health officers advice of keeping your circle to family at this time. These conditions may change as the province adjusts their policies. These are not meant to intrude but to keep with best safe guidelines. This package is a temporary package as we ordinarily host only private events for medium sized to larger groups an usually do not specialize in smaller groups. However we know some families just wish to have a relaxing night out to let the kids blow off steam while at the same time knowing your daily contacts will be people you know. We will be listening to feedback as always if you have any ideas for us we are at your service. These booking must be at least 48 in advance and no more than one week booked in advance as things can change from day to day. A $100 non refundable deposit is required and in the event of another provincial lockdown or if you have a COVID-19 diagnosis in your group with proper documentation the deposits would in those instances be refundable. We at Junhle Jim’s are here to help you have some fun and we do our best to keep you protected as much as possible from the potential infection of Covid-19. Jungle Jim’s would like to let people know we are still here. We are open and we ardd Ed private as always. We do have updated cleaning regimes as well as a few new procedures but all in all we are the same Jungle Jim’s we have always been. Please stay safe and if you have any questions please reach out so we can get you the answers you want. In the next day or 2 we will unveil a new smaller family night out that some of you may want to try out in these times of the kids being cooped up in the house. It will be for a nuclear family to enjoy a night out with Pizza drinks and fun during these strange times. Watch for the package if this sounds like what you are looking for.

We at Jungle Jim’s would like at this time to give everyone an update and to pray for everyone affected by the Coronavirus to recover safely. Now the update as everyone knows we as well as many other businesses are closed under provincial mandates. We wanted to also let any parent with a party booked to know they will not be penalized by us and deposits will be returned. As we move closer to your date we will be calling anyone who still has a booked reservation to let them know the status. Until we can open again by word of Public Health we cannot go forward with any parties but we also do not plan on a blanket cancellation either. If you wish to cancel that is obviously your right but there truly is no need as we move forward we will cancel the party for you automatically if it cannot continue. In this time all our normal windows for cancellations are suspended. Once we get the go ahead if you have not already cancelled on your own we will inform you that your party will move forward. Refunds will be processed as soon as we can however this is an unprecedented time and we do not know how long this will take. Once things have gotten back to normal if you have not automatically received a refund please call us and have your receipt ready. All person who pay on cash get a receipt from the till. As well debit transactions get receipts as well. PayPal clients will be automatically refunded as soon as we possibly can. Please take care of yourself and those around you. We may be practicing “Social distancing” but we should also should help anyone we can. Thank you to everyone for their understanding in these difficult times and Jungle Jim’s will do everything we legally can to assist you in this time of need.

At this time Jungle Jim’s would like to pray for all affected by the current Coronavirus. Please wash your hands often and before touching your face or eyes. We normally open up for March break to give people a place to play. However since Private Birthday Parties are our main business we will be safeguarding those clients by limiting the entry into our building. We will only be available for private events duration this March break. Please take the time to stop and think first above all. Please do not panic as that is more dangerous than not reacting at all. If you have travelled or someone close to you has travelled. Please self isolate. But above all do not panic. Think things through and take the proper precautions. That being said we also are taking additional precautions. Children will now be required to wash their hands upon entry before going into the play structure as well as before and after meals in our facility. Also to assist parents who are unaware if you have a turnout less than expected Jungle Jim’s will adjust our prices to assist. We do not want to gain at anyone’s misfortune. If you have a party for 20 booked but only 10 come you only pay for 10. Likewise if you fall below even our minimum attendance level we will work with you to help the financial uncertainty of throwing a party at this uncertain time. I am hoping someone can help me out. My nephew is in town and he is a hockey fan. We wanted to buy tickets to the Ice Dogs for tomorrow. But here the kicker they are sold out. If anyone has tickets for the Ice Dogs vs. Sudbury Wolves Feb. 16, 2020 that they can sell me....I will owe you big time.

Due to multiple requests we will be open on Friday February 21, 2020 from 11am-6pm for open play. Many children are out of school due to teachers strikes and as such we have had multiple requests for playtime bookings. Since I cannot accommodate so many private play dates we will simply open to allow as many people as possible a place to take their child. As always admission is $10 plus HST. Yes I still will accept Zippy Zoom passes or Gift cards for ONE entry. (Since I do not have access to balances as they closed we will acccept these gift cards as if it was a day pass.) Thanks you all for your patronage and we couldn’t do it without all of you backing us.

Ok just found an awesome deal and wanna share it with all my friends. 2835 Army cadets are hosting a Skyzone night. Ties Nov. 19 you just have to go to Skyzone and say ”II am here with the cadets” and for $20 you get 2 hours and the socks included! What a deal! Plus the Cadet corps gets the proceeds so Kudos to Skyzone for their awesome generosity!
