Hello loves!

Thank you so much for all of your incredible support these last few weeks as my summer kicked off with some very difficult times in my family. I am back in SJ and have already been loving being with my brides and nearlyweds again. You make this business so meaningful.

This summer I will be focused on helping as many of you as I can while also taking a healthy amount of time off to make memories with my son, husband and our loved ones. Even though this means I will be offering less appointments than usual this summer, please know that when I’m with you, I’m 💯 with you.

I hope you’re all having a happy and healthy summer so far. Squeeze your family and besties tight, don’t sweat the small stuff, and book in with me when you’re ready to find your gown. 🩷

Trigger Warning: Parent Loss

To my dear Freedom Bridal community. I, Lisa, the owner and stylist of Freedom Bridal need to be away from my studio for a few weeks. Recently I shared that one of my parents was unwell, in the local hospital due to complications from his Alzheimer’s. That parent remains in hospital and we love and support him to the best of our ability each day. This past weekend however life threw a gut wrenching loss at us that could never have been anticipated. My other wonderful parent, who we lovingly refer to as my Pop, and is Poppy to my son, passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. I am in PEI with my family as we try to get through this heart breaking time. I will reach out to everyone who needs to reschedule their appointment with me.

It doesn’t feel good sharing sad and grief filled news on my business pages as the focus of Freedom Bridal is joy, celebration and loving relationships. I want you all to know outside of my family and friends, working with brides and people in love is my greatest joy and treasure and I cherish supporting your journey and watching you celebrate with those who you love most. These are such important parts of life.

Thank you for your love and patience with me during this time. Sending hugs to you and reminding you to love one another.
