Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of respected Victoria musician, Bob Nelson, who passed away today. Shirley was fortunate to be able to hear him perform here at our Sunday Market on several occasions, and he will be greatly missed.

A funny thing happened at the Shirley Hall last night - the first Comedy Night! It was a well-attended night of jokes and laughs, brought to you by some first-rate up and coming young comedians. Shirley we’re not jesting when we say hopefully it’s the first of many such events to come!
