So this is a rare case in 2022 where it's ok for a panel to be full of white guys - men from across the music industry who will share how they learned about the need for allyship, and what practical actions they take to ensure safe and diverse work environments for all.

You are a Canadian or American Indigenous Citizen or International Indigenous person from such countries & continents as Australia, South America, New Zealand, Africa, Mexico, Caribbean Islands & Pacific Islands – Canadian or Native American Inuit, First Nation, Metis or International Indigenous is defined by Indigenous Hip Hop Awards to be: holding a Canadian, American or International birth certificates, passports during the eligibility period; Such groups as deemed by Indigenous Hip Hop Awards, solo/duo/group rappers, spoken word artists, writers, video producer(s) being the creative force behind the group label and/or designer in fashion, deejays, R&B singers, reggae artists, break dancers/crews, painters/graffiti arts, music video producer/directors and music producers.

Your urban content must be available for sale or just online – You have products available for sale or content online for fans or consumers to view your work. This means your single, EP, design work, events, videos, works of art or album is available online for all the world to enjoy!

"THIS is Italy – The Contemporary Italian Music Landscape" will be presented by TEMPOConnect on June 14th at the Global Toronto Conference.

Italian music has historically been held in high esteem. Much of it - operas especially - was conceived as "high art". But popular forms of Italian music also captured the mainstream consciousness globally, at one time. Yet today, more than music from other countries, Italian music struggles to break into foreign markets. The average listener does not readily imagine more to Italian music than opera. “THIS is Italy” is a look at how to bring listeners and contemporary Italian music back together again. We will explore today's Italian music landscapes, including live music, festivals, Italian arts in foreign markets, the independent scene, and creative initiatives that the pandemic has brought about, but which offer musicians and audiences new post-pandemic programming avenues. Another focus will be social change in Italy, and how that change has impacted sustainability, equity, gender diversity in society at large, and, in turn, music-making and creativity.
