- games are Monday-Thursday evenings after 5 so great times ( 2 to 3 games / week )

OVER 50years of Sylvan lake hockey camp tradition improvements each year to develop the player & develop the game

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐋𝐇𝐂 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞!! When your child attends the Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp, they come away with more than just skating, drills & skills! They have the full experience of a summer camp. Growing lasting friendships with like-minded athletes from across Western Canada and abroad! Garnering leadership qualities, working as a team player, and developing independent self-challenging techniques to aspire to be the best individual they can be! All while having FUN in the SUN!

We are an All-ages (6 years-15 years), All-skills summer hockey camp, each session.

Regular sessions are about 70% full now!
Session 1 - June 29-July 4
Session 2 - July 6-11
All Girls #1 - July 13-18
Session 3 - July 20-25 (less than 15 spots left)
Session 4 - July 27-August 1
Session 5 - August 4-9 (FULL)
Session 6 - August 10-15 (FULL)
All Girls #2 - August 10-15
Session 7 - August 17-22 (FULL)

Both Goaltender camps are about 75% full. Max 60 goaltenders per session.
Session #1 - August 1-4 (August Long weekend)
Session #2 - August 22-25 (Last weekend of SLHC!)

Now that the Festive Season is over, it's time to start planning for the Summer of 2025!! A Summer Holiday for the whole Family in Sylvan Lake, Alberta!

The SLHC is currently at 60% registration, with Sessions 6 and 7 being FULL. Sessions 5 and 3 are likely to be next. All-Girls Sessions 1 and 2 camps are about 50% full, along with Goaltenders 1 and 2 sessions.

We anticipate that we will be FULL by the end of January, so get your registration in soon!

Featuring:
7 - Weekly co-ed hockey camps from June 29 to Aug 18, 2024.
2 - All Girls Sessions - 1 in July and 1 in August running concurrently with Session 6 (Session 6 is FULL, All Girls is not).
2 - Goaltender Weekends in August.

Hard to believe it was 10 years ago already and so Happy to see all the youth that have grown into wonderful young women and men over the years!

GUESS WHO’S ANNOUNCING THE NHL® PRE-SEASON GAME?
Our very own Sylvan Lake Minor Hockey announcer Kris Lindberg.

His years of being raised by a father that announced for the Nipawin Jr. A Hawks for 20+ years has given Kris the spark that would later be ignited through announcing for his own children. This in turn was immediately requested by other teams and so it began, day until night.

"After we lost our arena here in Sylvan Lake, I wanted to commit to announcing for all teams to take the emphasis off of our loss and focus on moving forward and upping the quality of the Hockey experience. " says Kris.

Well that's just what he did, announcing every team from the 4 year old program to Old timers.

The 6th Annual "Hockey for a 'Claus" Fundraiser is back - Benefitting the Sylvan Lake Christmas Bureau.

The SLHC, Lakeside Hockey Development, and Complete Athlete are pleased to bring you this All Skills clinic on Friday, November 29, 2024.

9:30 am for U7/U9
10:45 am for U11/U13

Held in NexSource Centre Arena 1. This clinic will feature guest instructors from SLHC, Red Deer Polytechnic Kings/Queens & the Sylvan Lake Wranglers!
