Two high school sweethearts on their way to get married in Mexico! Jessica wanted a garden scape for her engagement photos so naturally we found ourselves at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Things to think about while choosing your wedding day venues and keeping your photos in mind!

💙NATURAL LIGHT💙
Having windows vs having no windows in your ceremony or reception space can completely change the way your photos turn out. Natural light gives us so much more to work with and guarantees our bright airy aesthetic while editing.

💙LOTS OF SPACE💙
When searching or visiting venues scan the surrounding area to check for possible photo spots. The best set up for time and organization is to shoot family and bridal portraits at the same venue. Bride and groom portraits can be on site or at a separate location but is always easiest to just travel together for a private session.

💙SEASONS & TIME OF DAY💙
Always take in consideration how different your location may look depending on the season your wedding date is vs the season you are visiting. The ground will look completely different from summer to fall. If you’re getting married outside definitely consider the location of the sun during your ceremony time. We’d prefer the sun to be behind you and your bridal party to keep the light even, avoid harsh shadows and lots of squinting from the sun.
