Former Super Eagles coach Bonfrere Jo has issued a powerful rallying cry to Nigeria’s national team ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifiers, warning that the team must defend as one solid wall to protect goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
🗣️ “It’s important for the entire team to protect the goalkeeper,” Bonfrere told Complete Sports. “This is not the job of defenders alone — midfielders and attackers must track back quickly and help defend, just as defenders support when attacking.”
