We were thrilled to partner with Thrive Youth Development Canada to produce this year’s Anti-Gala at Steam Whistle Brewing — an unforgettable night of creativity, connection, and community impact.

Guests explored a variety of immersive themed rooms, each packed with unique activities and workshops. The Culinary Arts Room featured hands-on sushi-making and cupcake-decorating experiences. In the Visual & Musical Arts Room, guests enjoyed mandala dot painting, a soundscape space, a pottery demonstration, and a vibrant graffiti wall. The Kinetic Room brought the energy with interactive games and engaging activities for guests of all ages.

Event highlights included an incredible performance by Soular, an inspiring mission moment hosted by Dave Keystone, and lively emceeing by Carlotta Carlisle. We were also proud to celebrate this year’s Thrive Youth Leadership Award Recipients, Yekta Yousefian and Sofie Khan, as well as the Northbridge Thrive Award Recipient, Justin Borsato.

Thrive Youth Development Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where children and youth can explore creative expression, discover their strengths, and develop the confidence and skills needed to make positive change in their lives and communities. The Anti-Gala plays a vital role in raising the funds that support these transformative programs.

We’re honoured to have been part of such a meaningful and inspiring event. 💙✨

Today’s event spotlight is on The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's Light The Night.

The hala inc. team was proud to collaborate with e=mc² events s and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada to produce the Light The Night events across six cities nationwide.✨💡

Light The Night is a powerful, heartwarming, and transformative experience that brings hope, healing, and connection to the blood cancer community.

This year, events were held in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax, each featuring an engaging reception with family-friendly activities, music, entertainment, and immersive spaces designed to bring people together.

The evening’s most meaningful moments came during the Gold, White, and Red Lantern Ceremonies, paying tribute to loved once we’ve lost, survivors and those living with blood cancer, and supporters.

Guests then embarked on the ceremonial walk, illuminated by moving performances along the route — including drummers with light-up drums, a violinist, and a choir. Walking together while carrying meaningful lanterns — Red for supporters, Gold for loved ones remembered, and White for survivors — created an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and hope.

A heartfelt thank-you to every fundraiser, participant, sponsor, and vendor that helped bring this event to life. Thank you also to the incredible team at for your dedication and partnership, we are honoured to work with you on this incredibly important event. It was an honour to help bring these powerful events to life. ❤️🕯️

It’s been a busy fall, and we’re excited to spotlight some of the events our team helped bring to life!

We were proud to collaborate with the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation on their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic, held at Lionhead Golf Club in Toronto and Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club in Vancouver.

TELUS partners and vendors spent the day enjoying fun contests and interactive activities on the course, all while learning more about the meaningful and impactful work of the Foundation.

The TELUS Friendly Future Foundation is a Canadian registered charity committed to ensuring that all youth—regardless of circumstance—have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. Their mission inspires us, and we’re honoured to support the important programs they make possible across the country.
