Meet Arnie Lepp of Spirit in Niagara Small Batch Distillery

When you meet Arnie, you can’t help but develop a bit of a crush. ✨ A true renaissance man, he had me (Hala Bissada, founder of Spirit of Niagara) grinning from the moment we met.

Arnie is the fourth generation of the Lepp family to care for over 200 acres of Niagara’s tender fruit and grapes — peaches, nectarines, plums, pears, apricots, cherries — and he’s turned this rich heritage into something downright delicious.

At Spirit in Niagara, Arnie crafts award-winning small-batch spirits while reducing fruit waste by using perfectly ripe, but cosmetically imperfect, fruit. The result? A portfolio of playful, fruit-forward spirits like Cheeky Cherry Bounce, Amorous Apricot, and Pleasure Me Plumoncello — proof that sustainability can be seriously fun. 🍒🍑🍐
