Diving into S+R’s world means embracing the thrill of discovering cute and quirky Tiki Bars together. 🍹 It’s their go-to vacation highlight and a shared passion that’s too cool to ignore. So, when we crafted their vibrant and colourful wedding, it was a no-brainer that adding a kitschy Tiki Bar was a game-changer! 🌺 Elevated cocktails flowed for the guests, and the tropical display in the dazzling tent turned the celebration into a lively oasis. These cocktails weren’t your run-of-the-mill; they were a sneak peek into S+R’s life together, sparking curiosity and prompting everyone to dive into the summery delights. 🌴

Capturing the essence of A+E’s vibrant wedding was an absolute delight! From unexpected personal touches to heartwarming moments, their celebration was a display of uniqueness. One standout feature was the live painter, turning their special day into a masterpiece in real-time. 🎨 Guests couldn’t resist checking in on the evolving artwork, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities. When the bride and groom laid eyes on the finished treasure, they were overwhelmed—it’s now a stunning keepsake they can hold onto. Excitement is an understatement when we think about having Shauna at more of our events!

We always encourage couples to be true to themselves, embracing what sparks joy. Let your unique story unfold, giving your guests a front-row seat into your love. This is what imprints your celebration as something they won’t ever forget!

In a setting filled with personal history, Jessica and Chris’s wedding was beautiful and sentimental. Taking place in their hometown they hosted a one of a kind day that celebrated their journey from high school sweethearts to life partners! Not only did the bride work at the venue growing up, it’s also where their proposal took place. The Westover Inn is woven into their story and they couldn’t imagine making a promise of forever anywhere else.

The magical tent was adorned with autumn’s bounty in florals, textures, and patterns and everyone toasted to the couple and danced the night away under a stunning canopy of lights. It was an incredibly heartfelt weekend for all their nearest and dearest. J+C we couldn’t adore you more and wish all the love, joy, and fulfillment to one of the most deserving couples we have ever had the pleasure of working with. You two are something special!

For the couple who appreciates a masterpiece in a cocktail, in collaboration with we created this botanically-inspired bar that brings the art of mixology and botanicals front and center. We cater to our clients’ affinities for traditional art forms such as music, photography, floral design, and the culinary arts, while also embracing unconventional artistic expressions not typically associated with weddings, including mixology, cinema, theatre, literature, a reverence for nature, and even game design. We recognize that every couple has their own unique spirit, and being authentic to that spirit is how we create an unforgettable experience!🍹🍊🌺💨

Dive into the charm of Paris with Kristen and Raj’s exquisitely curated wedding day. A celebration where French elegance met personalized bliss, their “Café de Paris” ceremony will always be a special one for us. From the moment of arrival, guests were greeted not just by smiles at our host stand but by an experience that whispered a promise of the enchantment to follow.

Guided to their tables, each guest was met with a crafted cocktail and a vignette of Parisian delights – a picnic basket with buttery croissants, artisanal French jams, savory herbes de Provence cashews, delicate pâté de fruit, and the sweetest strawberries, setting the stage for their heartfelt vows.🥐🍓🥂

This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a journey into a day tailor-made with creativity and love, where every detail resonated with the couple’s story. A preview of an evening brimming with wonder, leaving guests in anticipation of the surprises yet to be unveiled.

Embrace the magic of Golden Hour! ✨☀️It’s a must. Including an appropriate window in your itinerary for this time not only takes a little pressure off of your earlier creative time with your photographer, but it also gives you an opportunity to capture some extra love once your nerves have settled. A lot of the anticipation of the day has worn off, you’ve said “I do!”, greeted all your guests, eaten some dinner, and are looking forward to the party ahead. You will be so glad you have the extra photos of just the two of you and it will be in the stunning warmth of that golden light before sunset.🌅

Having such a diverse range of clients is one of our absolute most treasured aspects of our job. We are so lucky to meet so many interesting people from different backgrounds with unique stories and family traditions. We learn so much and walk away from every celebration with a deep appreciation of what meant the most to that specific couple and their loved ones. Whether it comes from wanting to branch out from the expected conforms of weddings to really surprise guests, a religious or cultural background, or meaningful family traditions being passed down, we are intrigued and enthusiastic every single time! We don’t believe there should be any rules when constructing your celebration, just thoughtful and intentional moments to celebrate your love and honour what means the most to you. Whatever that may be, we’re game!

Sophie and Ron’s multicultural wedding was filled with so much beauty and sentiment. Their guests were treated to so many elements throughout the day that represented their families and cute personal details from their love story. Beyond this gorgeous ceremony their Tiki Bar will go down in Lustre Events history!

When the centrepieces are THIS good, it’s impossible to pick a favourite arrangement.🌺🌼🌹This bold and joyful design came together so amazingly. There were endless details to appreciate on the tables but the florals definitely stole the show! A+E wanted something whimsical, dreamy, and over the top fun and .flora delivered for us. Stefanie always radiated beauty from the inside out. She has an amazing aura of confidence and personal style. But when we saw her for the first time on her wedding day, she literally took my breath away. Her sleek, simple, elegance paired with those unforgettable statement sleeves were perfection on perfection. captured her in her element masterfully. Showing some major love for the place settings at P+J’s reception. A lot of love and detail went into this design and was a true collaboration of effort from the entire team!

There are no words to convey the magic of the florals from . This palette we had to design with was 👌. The carefully selected pieces from including the velvet charger mat and contrasting velvet napkin created a luxurious setting for the rest of the goodies to come. The rolled napkins were wrapped with a gorgeous silk ribbon and lettered with gold foil by so every guest could find their personalized seat in style. made all the stationery including the half moon menu to fit the plate perfectly to showcase the delicious meal. Finally, each setting was finished with a gorgeous amuse bouche that customized for us. It was a stunning finishing touch that peaked curiosity and had everyone diving in for a bite as soon as they sat down.

All the elements came together as imagined and it was a sensory experience for guests to get acquainted with their place for the evening. 🍽

Last weekend celebrating Jessica and Chris! These sweet souls got the absolute perfect late September weather for an outdoor soirée. Seriously, could it have been a more gorgeous weekend? The stars aligned for these two and it was an exquisite, heartwarming day for this special couple and their intimate guest list. Property weddings really are so special. And they have become a specialty of ours! 🏡✨✨

When we get the opportunity to create a memorable and welcoming guest experience at someone’s home, it truly feels like an honour, and we are elated to accept! It becomes a deeply personal and one of a kind event that can’t be replicated. Our couples create lifelong memories in a special place that is theirs. There are naturally less rules and way more room for creative freedom than working with a venue.

Erin and Julian’s very beautiful day took place at his grandparents property. This location was the very spot that his grandparents had their wedding, followed by his parents reception decades later. So this one was very special to the whole family (and the team who brought the event to life)!

Bollywood Glam for D+S! These two lovelies wanted something colourful, bold, and elegant. Treating their nearest and dearest to an unforgettable evening overlooking the skyline was exactly what they requested. This out of town crowd who travelled to Toronto to celebrate were in store for something magical. The jewel tones, the touches of Indian inspired design, and the sleek finishing touches made this wedding a showstopper! 🎨💎🌃✨✨

When those al fresco vibes hit just right! It’s not easy to pull off dining under the night sky. You need to ensure guests will be comfortable and that food service can be seamless. Emma and Michael, however, scored the absolute most amazing day to have their reception fully outdoors. Perfect temperature, no rain in the forecast, and not too windy! When all those stars align it truly creates wedding MAGIC. ✨✨✨

We still love wedding cakes over here! Now there are so many options for dessert and surprises for guests, cakes don’t always make it to the top of the priority list for every couple. But sometimes tradition wins out and we’re here for it. A lovely cake that is presented as a focal point in your reception, can be a beautiful addition to the space and a very sweet moment when it’s time to cut it together.🍰

In this case, Katie and Hussein’s adorable colour blocked floral cake had some extra meaning. In the brides family there is a tradition that you bake a piece of your parents cake into yours for good luck. This was a moment almost 40 years in the making, her parents had been saving a little slice from their wedding to be included! It was baked into the top tier and saved for them to cut on their anniversary (also so no guests had to eat 40 year old cake!😂). It was a really cute moment that meant a lot to her family. 💕

Now these two have a piece of their cake they need to take care of for a few decades!

We love an impactful recessional moment! Everyone is emotionally charged, cocktails are about to be passed, and the newlyweds have made it official. The photos after your “I do’s” are often some of our favourites! Aileen and Emin are one of the most fun loving couples EVER. So a send off from the altar in a sea of bubbles was totally them! Guests were in store for some fun and unexpected surprises throughout their whole day, and we are so happy with how well this sweet one turned out! 🫧🫧🫧

When you have your wedding at an orchard why not make your colour palette “fruit punch”? We clearly love our bright pops of juicy hues. And those little plums accompanying the place cards were specially picked on the property that morning. It was only fitting that guests all got to take home a cute basket of fresh Niagara fruit!🍒🍑🫐🍇🍓🍋

Sarah and Tom’s ceremony in the mystical forest at Whispering Springs was nothing short of magic. They wanted it to feel like a fairytale, and Sarah like a modern day princess as she walked down the aisle. The serene setting feels like a secret location. Once you enter the forest you’re shielded from the hot sun by all the trees. It’s calm, private, quiet, and very romantic. It was filled with exquisite florals in the loveliest soft hues and Sarah walked in on a lush bed of white petals. A harpist provided the perfect soundtrack for the setting. It was truly unforgettable! 🌳🌸✨✨
