If you ever feel "unlike yourself", don't be ashamed! Even plants will act irregularly from time to time.

Take for example our beautiful "Queen of the Night" plant. Known for blooming only once a year, and at night, the "Queen of the Night" is certainly one of the most exotic plants you can set your eyes upon, but this year she decided to do things a little differently...

She bloomed yesterday morning and in daylight! Isn't nature wonderful?

So take that as a lesson to embrace your irregularities, because it makes for special moments like these ❤🌱

Good morning plant lovers! Here is some positive energy to start day...

While they can sometimes be overwhelming, we owe lots to our little bee workers!

According to the WWF "Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees."

That bee-ing said, it's important to 'bee' thankful for our little pollinators. In this case, we are thankful for this bumble bee who is happily pollinating our Rose of Sharons!

This arching shrub at our greenhouse is hosting a friendly and beautiful monarch on its flower! 🦋

Venus Flytrap terrariums have arrived at our store! 🌱

Did you know the Venus Flytrap have trigger hairs that, when touched, cause the plant to react by snapping shut. This allows the plant to capture insects for nourishment, making it a predatory plant.

Even better, under proper care, they can last 2 decades or more!

How cool is that?!
