I have spent the major part of my life in a theatre, it was my childhood dream, my adolescent obsession, my lifetime goal to have a career in the Performing Arts. The theatre is a magical, sacred place and it must be preserved at all costs, because the cost of losing it would be infinitely greater. Too many small theatres have already permanently closed their doors, and with them we have lost the breeding grounds of countless masterpieces, not only the works themselves but the actors that may have performed them or the writers inspired by them. Even before the pandemic, starting a theatre company and keeping it afloat was excruciatingly difficult. Do not sit back and think "oh they'll just start up again after all this has passed", it is not that simple. So please, call that venue where you always go during the Fringe or the jazz fest and find out what you can do to make sure it still exists "after all this has passed..."

I am beyond thrilled to be back in the studio working with real live people again, and what fine people they are!! The staff and students at Wexford Performing Arts never cease to amaze, with social distancing systems in place such as separate cohort groups and assigned hallway periods, students are safer and free to continue their passionate pursuits, and we're so glad to be a part of it ๐๐โจ
