With over a decade of experience as the visionary force behind Keisha Pinto Events Inc., I’ve built a brand that transforms visions into unforgettable moments. From corporate events to now destination weddings & events, I specialize in executing flawless, bespoke experiences that inspires and impact leaving lasting impressions both locally and globally.

But my journey doesn’t stop at events. I mentor aspiring event professionals, entrepreneurs and empower event producers to leverage their events as revenue-generating opportunities. And my heart beats for giving back—my passion project, has brightened the holidays for hundreds of children across Toronto and Jamaica, making each season a little more magical.

Celebrating 10 years in business and the 10 lessons I’ve learned continues…

Lesson #6: Invest In Yourself: Invest in your professional development, attend workshops and conferences and seek mentorship to enhance your skills and knowledge. Book that flight and leave your city for growth and expansion.

Lesson #5: Don’t Compare Yourself To Yours: You never know what someone has to do and grow through to get where they are in their season. Don’t compare someone’s 20 year experience to your 5 year.

The Business Of Beauty & Wellness Luncheon: Catalyst for Economic Growth In Jamaica

I’m beyond thrilled to share some amazing moments from the recent JIBE luncheon in association with (JAMPRO) leading up to the 5th staging of The Jamaica International Beauty Expo.

The panel discussion I was honoured to be a part of delved deep into Jamaica’s burgeoning beauty industry. We discussed how local businesses can stand tall against international brands entering Jamaica and set the stage for a global success.

Networking with corporate giants, industry leaders, and passionate beauty enthusiasts was nothing short of inspiring. The energy, ideas and collaborations formed here are sure to propel the beauty and wellness industry forward.

I am beyond thrilled to share that I’ve been nominated for the prestigious Woman of Influence award for the third time!

This nomination means the world to me, especially considering the journey it took to get here, and as I am looking forward to celebrating 10 years in business this September 2024.

In 2019 and 2020 when I was nominated, I found myself grappling with imposter syndrome and personal challenges that impacted my mental well-being. At those moments, I couldn’t see myself as worthy of such a prestigious nomination, and I let self-doubt cloud my perception of my accomplishments. I didn’t pursue the application for eligibility, and I missed out on the opportunity to share my story.

But here I am, embracing this nomination with open arms and a renewed sense of great confidence and a lot more experience. They say the third time’s a charm, and I couldn’t agree more. I feel seen and acknowledged for the work I’ve poured into events and my community initiatives, despite the hurdles I’ve faced along the way.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to team, and all the individuals who nominated me. Your continuous support and recognition mean more to me than words can express. I’m deeply honored to be amongst the other influential women making a tangible impact in their industries and spaces.

Together, let’s continue to rewrite the narrative, break barriers, and uplift one another. This nomination is not just for me—it’s a celebration of our collective achievements and a reminder of the power we hold to shape a more inclusive and equitable future. Thank you all for being a part of this journey with me.
