Happy Thursday! As we continue to reflect on how incredibly grateful we are for all of the performers and static displays that were able to attend over the Canada Day weekend, we would like to give a special thanks to the guy who makes everything look so “easy” in his 1986 Long EZ airplane – Kyle Fowler with Go EZ Aerobatics. Thank you for not only wowing us with your incredible aerobatic performance, but also for taking the time to sign autographs, take selfies, and meet and chat with so many spectators over the course of the airshow.

The passion and skill that you bring to each and every one your performances is truly inspiring!

That’s a wrap on the 2024 edition of the Quinte International Air Show!

Thank you to our spectators (over 50,000 of you) that joined us in celebrating 100 years of the RCAF. We had so much fun in the rain and sun with you this weekend.

Thank you to the performers, static displays, STEM Zone, and vendors that kept our spectators entertained and fed. A big shout out to all the dedicated volunteers, members of 8 Wing, and our partners who worked countless hours planning and preparing for the show. A final thank you to all of the sponsors who were instrumental in bringing the air show to you!

Our Air Boss Team is hard at work monitoring conditions and negotiating with Mother Nature. Our flying program is currently suspended for the safety of our performers and patrons. As soon as we have favourable flying conditions at the airfield - we’ll be launching some fun in the skies over Quinte!
Until then, come meet the pilots and crew in 7 Hangar BMO Top Pilots Academy. Ask TANGO why fighter pilots talk with their hands. 🤷

The Skyhawks will not perform on Saturday due to the low ceiling and weather conditions.
Meet the Team throughout the day in the STEM Zone and BMO Top Pilots Academy Hangar. They’ll be visiting with air show guests, conducting huge packing demonstrations, signing autographs and answering your skydiving questions.
They’re also proud to call CFB Trenton home!

It may be a little soggy here at 8 Wing, but we aren’t letting the weather dampen our spirits! We have moved a number of airplanes and activities inside for you to enjoy. Don’t miss the displays, vendors, and dozens of static aircraft to see and explore.

Our Air Boss Team continues to monitor weather conditions in the area. While performers have a variety of performance options for a wide range of conditions, decisions on flying operations for each aircraft are ongoing.

As we gear up for an incredible weekend at the Quinte International Airshow, please remember that our event takes place on an active Canadian Armed Forces Base. For everyone's safety, there are certain items that are strictly prohibited on site. To ensure smooth entry and to maintain safety for all, our security team will conduct searches of people, coolers, wagons, etc., upon arrival. If you decline a search, entry may be denied.

For a complete list of prohibited items, please refer to our FAQs at https://www.quinteairshow.ca/faq. Please note that there are no lockers or safe boxes available on site to store prohibited items.
