Ticket sales for a new festival are crucial, and we know that Winnipeg is a city of last-minute decision makers. ⁠

We waited as long as we could to get an uptick in sales, but they didn’t materialize, and the event is no longer viable.⁠
⁠
So many of you — ticket buyers, suppliers, supporters, musicians, businesses — believed in this dream with us, and we are so sorry to have disappointed you.⁠

We are offering some gorgeous body painting by in our activities area on Saturday & Sunday from 12-1:45pm

Kristin, of Cartizan Face Painting has been in the face painting business for nearly 15 years and loves to see the smiling faces of those that she’s painting, whether it be a child at a birthday party, and festival-goer, or an adult, decked out and dressed for a gala costume event.

So have some fun with it!

Never Better Coffee is a coffee company committed to accessibility, transparency, and customer experience, founded during the pandemic in May 2020 as a response to the need for a local coffee delivery service. We don't know about you, but there's nothing worse than eagerly awaiting a festival, only to show up and have to wait in line to get in. ⁠

That's why we created the wristband system (instead of physical tickets!) ⁠
⁠
When you buy them before July 31, you get your wristband ✨mailed to you✨ ready to pre-load with however much $$$ you want to add to it, so you can just show up and dive right into the festival. ⁠💃🕺⁠

Any purchases after the 31st means you'll need to pick up your wristbands (aka your ticket to get in) at our pop-up box office on-site the week prior to the festival, or at Will Call.⁠

We celebrate the arts with a beautiful
Hoop dancing performance by Shanley Spence.
She will be performing Sunday Aug 14th in the Acivities Area.

Throughout her years, Shanley Spence has risen to become a prominent, well-known Indigenous community advocate. With roots of Nihithaw/Cree ancestry from her mother’s community of Pukatawagan and Saulteaux/Anishinaabe from her father’s community of Lake St. Martin First Nation. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development from the University of Winnipeg. Shanley now helps bring healing, storytelling, and reclamation to people worldwide through her gifts of dance, content creation, writing, powwow fit, hoop dance, sharing her voice and speaking on important subjects and now branching out into a practicing Life and Empowerment Coach.

We can’t wait to see her dance!
