Well, it took a couple of weeks but we are pleased to have finally presented the winner of our TO Retro ‘23 door prize: A Lego Transformers Optimus Prime, with the real thing! Congratulations to Rob Mair! Thanks again to all who attended and stay tuned for details on our next event, slated for the Fall of this year.

On behalf of Collect 'Em All and the TO Retro '23 team, we wanted to thank all of our attendees, exhibitors, partners, and sponsors for making our first event under our new banner a success!

We saw close to 500 attendees and raised $750 for The Farley Foundation through ticket sales and our hourly prize raffle. We're already brainstorming our next event (TBD: Fall 2023) which will be significantly larger, and with more unique programming!

We welcome feedback to improve our events, so please don't hesitate to dm us or send an email at [email protected]

The Collect 'Em All Team is en route to Leaside Memorial Gardens as we speak, and while we expect to be pretty busy with set-up until we officially open for the Early Bird crowd at 10 am, we encourage you to visit our FAQ page for any questions you might have about the show, in case we aren't able to respond to messages or emails right away.

Tickets for both Early-Bird (from 10 am) and Regular BOGO Adult (from 12 pm) Admission can still be purchased online, or at the door. See you there!

It's that time again, folks and frankly, we're a little embarrassed that it took this long to pay homage to The Real Ghostbusters (and Slimer)! Introduced in 1986 as a follow-up to the iconic 1984 film, this show featured the voice talents of many who would go on to star in other hits of the era, including Dave Coulier (Full House, America's Funniest People), Arsenio Hall (Coming to America, The Arsenio Hall Show), and Toronto's own Maurice LaMarche (Animaniacs/Pinky and the Brain). While the show itself had many memorable moments (and some that were/ still are genuinely frightening, like the Boogie Man episode), we of course most fondly remember the tie-in toy line from Kenner, with "fright features", slime (that was the bane of our family carpets), and still wanting to get our hands on a Firehouse playset, and the Proton Pack!
