Having a "first dance" with my Grandpa was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.
My husband joined us on the dance floor, with my Grandma in his arms.
It was one of the most emotional parts of our wedding day, me and my Gramps crying through most of the song.
Every year Facebook reminds me of this beautiful moment, but this year it felt like a punch to the heart.
This year I can't tag my Grandfather in this post and looking at these pictures reminds me that I'll never dance with him again.
My Grandpa passed away this winter and it's still hard to believe, I secretly thought he'd just never go.
I'll cherish this moment and these pictures forever, but god it's hard to look through them this year.

It's been many years since I've seen their beautiful faces and today I had the pleasure of Officiating for Maria and her incredible partner, Kim.
There were tears, goosebumps and long overdue hugs and I couldn't be happier that fate brought us together today 💜

"Courtney was fantastic, we were running a bit behind schedule so we met her minutes before the ceremony, this made us anxious just in general.
But as soon as we met Courtney we felt at ease again and very excited.
She walked us through what to expect and had a great energy to her.
We enjoyed having her as our officiant very much, and would definitely recommend"

Listen, things happen! It's hard to stay on schedule sometimes and running late for your wedding can be really stressful!
My goal is always to stay calm and reassuring when this happens. We can't change it, so why add to a Brides stress?!

I'm so happy I could take even a little stress away from R&B before they walked down the aisle 💒🩷

"Working with Courtney was an amazing experience!
She was very helpful during the process of writing our script.
We also elected to have Courtney at our rehearsal which just made both of us feel so much more at ease about the ceremony. Courtney did a fabulous job during our ceremony; she made us both feel calm and happy.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the beautiful mummas out there.
But especially this woman, my mum.

Not only did I plan my entire wedding with her (I think my husband was grateful for that), but she also officiated our ceremony, which meant the world to me.

For 35 years she has given me unwavering support in everything and anything I've done.
She's truly my best friend.

It's something I've included for many couples and even did it at my own wedding.

This beautiful ceremony for F&D's wedding was extra special, because the couple asked me to not only speak the words, but wrap their hands as well ❤️‍🩹
