I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out the best way to share all of these amazing photos I took for so many amazingly beautiful couples!! I am BEYOND honoured to capture these, and I find it so hard to share all of my favourite images!! SO, I’m launching AMP Lovers Showcase days!!! For 24 hours I’m sharing as many photos as I can from the weddings/ elopements I’ve done this year!! Each showcase will highlight 1 couple! From reels to stories to posts, I’ll be all over your feed on Lovers Showcase day!!My favourite part of this idea is sharing my favourite moments, so I’m counting on YOU to head to my stories and ask what you want to know about this Lovers Day!! There’s just something about watching your sisters become moms that hits so hard 😭😭😭 When I say I’m all about those candid moments, I mean it 💗 moments that are authentically YOU have such a special place in my heart. Mr. & Mrs. Fender 💗 What was originally suppose to be there engagement photo shoot turned into a beautiful elopement day 😭🎉 when Robbi texted me days before saying that they were eloping, I knew this couple was my ideal client! 28 next year… I can’t believe it 🤯 Self portraits always make me reflect on my life- and normally I have something I think is profound to say about loving yourself… but today, these photos, I really think they speak for themselves. I’ve done so much work to pull myself out of depression and ease my anxiety. I’ve done so much work to just be able to share these online with the world 🎉 I’ve fought to love the girl in these photos, and I really think it shows! Turning 24, 25, 26, 27 was dreadful because it meant another year without mom here. But turning 28 means another year I get to LIVE and love and do all the things I know she would be so proud of. It’s another year I get to see the world how my beautiful mom saw the world- full of wonder and full of people with amazing stories to tell. Every year I get older, I get to connect with mom in a different way, as a different version of myself. 💗 it’s heartbreaking to live in a world without mom, but remember, grief is love preserving. She’s here with me, and I know she’d want me to celebrate life ❤️ and I am, I’m trying. (ps. I’m not 28 until June) #grieftalk

SELF LOVE IS THE JOURNEY 💕I spent almost a decade completely hating my body. It got worse when my mom died and I gained a lot of weight. I had no idea how to cope. I lost myself. How do you deal with the death of your mom? The best way you know how ❤️ there is no shame in our coping strategies. Instead of hiding away this last year, I’ve put a lot of work into showing up for myself and letting myself be seen. Truly seen. & I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life than I have in these pictures my hubby took a few weekends ago. I was worried I would hate them but when I saw them, oh man! All I see is my smile and the work I’ve done to love myself (thank god for therapy 👏🏽) You get one life and you get to decide how happy you want to be.
