Installed the dance floor and some other fixtures today for .to. So good. Nice job helping with setup and tear down Chris and Kevin. And Dan on the lights and figuring out how to get the wifi running smoothly. 😀 And Mark E again for coming in late and helping with load out. And for providing the space.

Derrick Carter aftermath... We didn't get many shots during the show.

The dance floor is now fully certified for anything anyone can throw at it. People loved dancing on it. It is great for breaking up the room and making another space. And it didn't skip a beat the whole show.

Plus we used many other fixtures for this one to varying degrees of success.

We learned that wireless controllers are good for homes and quiet spaces and worthless for busy shows. Always go wired! If anyone has any ideas for ways we can get wireless controllers working reliably during a busy show please post a comment here or send us a DM.

Many thanks to those who helped get this one up and running. Debbie, Chris H, Owen V, Justin M (thank you for the extensions, cable guards, floor tape - we have ordered our own now finally), Nick K (for helping Ryan realign when he needed it most), Mike V (thank you for the trailer!), Joce and Mark (for temporary trailer parking)

And thanks to Richard Brooks for trusting us to pull it all together into a fully working package. We build, we learn, we build again.

Wow! What a crazy week / weekend. So many nights in the fungeon right up to the 11th hour. We made two new letters - L and C! We put the power and light control into 4 of the dance floor panels which made it possible for us to get it turned on in test mode in about 90 minutes on setup day. Another 90 minutes for everything else (18 LED bars and a SOCIAL disco sign). Then about 2 hours of software configuration. We can do this sort of setup with a crew of 3 in about 5 hours. Good to know!

There were so many people involved in making this happen. We have so much gratitude and love for...

Rich and Julie for providing a creative space to us in the so awesome!

Scott for coming from Victoria and being super amazing at lights already, for building and painting shadow boxes like a seasoned pro, and all the other things you did to save my ass last week.

Nick for the hand cut C on insanely short notice. Wow! And Rich for tiling... all of it? Did anyone else add a tile to it? Who else to do the C than Cooper himself?

Julie, Kenny, Alyssa, Ash and Owen all tiling the L!

Rich, Scott and Gus for coming on setup morning and helping everything go smoothly and Mark E for sticking around extra late with us for tear down.

And Justin and Angela and the BOK crew for bringing us on and trusting us to get it done for the long running and amazing Sunday Social! We are very grateful for the support! Thank you!

We now have Resolume Arena 7 Key, Madrix 5 Basic (32 Universe) and Madrix 5 Ultimate (128 universe) keys if anyone wants to try them out for a party. Happy to help with lights as well. We can synchronize any and all addressable fixtures. Full controlled light show with rig rental.

We are also happy to rent out our two computer resolume/madrix control computers and dongles and Akai APC 40 MkII.
