Two of Canada’s best underground singer songwriters are coming to Alliston

Intimate Concert and Fundraiser Featuring Singer-Songwriters Russ Robson and Black Suit Devil

Alliston, Ontario - The music community of Alliston is gearing up for a night of unforgettable performances as two talented singer-songwriters, Russ Robson and Black Suit Devil, take the stage on Thursday, May 25th. This special intimate concert event will be held at the Mercer Pub, located in the lower level of The Gibson Centre, and will serve as a fundraiser for the artists' upcoming Rising Sun Tour.

Russ Robson, a grunge folk singer-songwriter and story teller originally from Holland Landing Ontario, has toured extensively throughout North America and has shared the stage with renowned musicians like Willie Nelson and Toby Keith. His music has been described as a mix of 90s grunge with folk and country, with hints of Bob Dylan and Kris Kristofferson. Black Suit Devil, hailing from Hastings, is a seasoned musician with hundreds of shows under his belt. He has shared festival bills with Robert Plant and Nathaniel Rateliff, among others, and has been compared to Ray LaMontagne, Tom Waits, and Chris Cornell.

The concert promises to be an intimate experience for ticket holders, as both artists will share their personal stories and experiences from their travels on the road. The event is expected to draw a diverse crowd of music lovers and fans, who will be treated to a night of amazing music and unforgettable performances.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards funding the artists' upcoming Rising Sun Tour. This tour promises to be an incredible journey for both artists, who are looking forward to sharing their music with fans across the east coast.

What an epic weekend of music at The Foxx Lounge Rock Bar & Hotdoggery! Your ears might still be ringing from the monster performances put on by The Noolands, Mitch Tones Band, Cigar Club, and Sweet And The Big Bad Friday night! We were able to capture a few good shots of some of the bands but they just don't do these guys justice. The Barrie music scene is LIT!
