We are slowing things down for today on our business page as we celebrate our baby girl Katie’s 6th birthday in Heaven. We hope you’ll stay and check out our journey of how Katie’s Star Celebrations was born.
April 26, 2017 we got our first positive pregnancy test! Pregnancy was easy and beautiful. We travelled, we exercised, we were happy and so grateful for the life we created.
November 2017, our families threw us a surprise baby shower and what a surprise it was!
December 3, 2017 we had maternity photos done at my family farm. Unfortunately this was the day that things started taking a turn for the worst.
December 4, 2017 at 35 weeks pregnant, our baby girl had no heartbeat. Two words that would change our lives forever.
December 5, 2017 our beautiful girl was born with dark brown hair and some of the longest fingers and toes you’d ever see!
Katie gave me the title of Mother. While I grieved and STILL grieve the loss of my child, I knew that her story wasn’t over. I wanted to create happiness from tragedy and life from death. Katie’s Star Celebrations was born.
Infant loss is a difficult topic to discuss, as there are no words that can take the pain away. I wanted to use this platform as a safe place to share our story and bring awareness to infant loss. No more elephants in the room or awkward conversations about the beautiful babies born into Heaven.
Here we are today, 6 years later bringing Katie’s legacy to life in assisting all of you with your celebrations! Katie is our shining star in the night sky and the spiritual leader of our business. We are so grateful for our clients, families, friends, coworkers and fellow business owners who have supported us and helped get us here today.
