Hey peeps, I’m going to the Blues Jam with Wendy (at the Wicket Hall, below The Sticky Wicket) today (4-7:30). I’ve been going pretty consistently for the last few months and it’s just a great vibe/way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to it all week. Food, dancing and quality musicianship, governed (with much gratitude to) Deb Rhymer, keeps everything on point. 🧡🐳

Any of my musical friends wanna pop by? If not today, some other Sunday.

I was reminded of this today. My friends David, Stephen, Arman, Bil (with help on the sidelines from Derek and Evan and others) filled a void for ourselves and others that tuned in during the first year of the the C-Word. (That thing we’re not allowed to talk about anymore if a viewpoint might be expressed … just had an important podcast pulled by YouTube bots, and then forced into the equivalent of ‘sensitivity training’ on the right things to say about it. Unbelievable). Whew. Rant over.

Anyways… we got to hang together, entertain ourselves and others (some even tuned in from overseas) and we built an app out of it (Rockstar Bingo) because nothing existed that could do what we needed (huge nod to Matthew Longpre).

4 years later and I’m missing it just a little. We were creative, agile and flexible like a good team should be. 🤗

We were up in Port McNeil Gate House Theatre last weekend. We had some guests up on stage to “sing it better”. I live for moments like this. Nobody was having any fun. 😎😉 with Bil, Arman, Stewart, Derek, Just Sean’ing Around, Rockstar Bingo, Sean.

Hey Rockstar Nights fans. We’ll be back soon enough. We’re retooling and rethinking a few things as we take a break during “Dry January” (wisdom tells us to take this time to have a break but we also know our audiences will be too…).

No set date for return yet as there is much to discuss and confirm (…but likely around the first week of February). When we come back, trust that the boys will be ready, the mic will be primed and that in the meantime … we miss you too. 🤗

In the meantime, I’m in Florida and going to North Carolina January 16th to meet my friends (both named Chris, ironically) and I’m hoping to nudge a band there into trying this “live band music bingo” concept out. They sound like just the guys to take this idea and share it with others. Because, it just needs to be shared.

Yep, it's getting to be that time again. TGIT (Thank Goodness It's almost Thursday). LIVE BAND MUSIC BINGO at The Sticky Wicket with Bil filling in for Stephen this week.

We've got even more tunes added (including some festive one's of course), some new videos to entertain (just for Shannon 🤗) and we're going to save the last 20 minutes of the night to drive the dance floor!

This might be a busy one so reservations are recommended (7:00 in the Clubhouse, food is great!). Show is 8:00!

Under the OOOOOOH… my goodness, that was fun. Last week at The Sticky Wicket, SuperSauce had a surprise stage appearance from my friend in Edmonton, Scott from Beetz Entertainment joined us on stage for one of the game clues. Killing in the Name (Rage Against the Machine). Pretty badass if you ask me. 😎 with Bil Underwood, Arman Tesoro and David Dahlberg.

We have absolutely no fun doing this. LOL. 🤪🍺🎸
