Have you ever heard of a lathe? .originals , a husband and wife duo from Airdrie could tell you all about it! This machine tool is used to shape wood and that's how they create wooden masterpieces. Some of their products include beautiful wooden bowls (like the one in this photo), kitchen utensils and candle holders. You can also find handmade natural stone bracelets in their space.

A local mama here in Okotoks who has discovered her passion with some needles and wool. She knits cozy beanies, warm mittens, adorable booties, snug blankets and more. But wait it gets even better,  she also is a supplier of merino wool and poms. Another fun fact is she actually dyes her own wool, talk about being all in! Whether it's late at night, during swim practice for her kids or even on vacation, this mama is always knitting. You're going to fall in love with her creations as much as we have!

Up next we have , handcrafted charcuterie meats from Rocky View County. Did you know that this micro-salumeria prides itself in using naturally raised pork - always slow-cured and dry-aged for exceptional flavor.

One thing you'll learn about Amanda and Nicole are they are suckers for charcuterie. We incorporate all things charcuterie into most meetings and meats such as Calabrian Chilies Salami, Organic Fennel Salami, as well as the  Black Pepper and Wine Salami are staples in both of our households. Where taste buds MEAT their match, bring in snack time!

They will have many flavors of freshly baked sourdough, starter kits, cookies, bagels, gluten free items and even subscriptions for the locals. We have been sampling all the goodies and we promise they will not disappoint on!

We have some exciting news! We can't even wait for our first annual Easter Event. This event will be family friendly with many exciting activities and entertainment opportunities to host the community of Okotoks. We are working on securing those details and will share all the extra fun things that we have planned, as soon as we can! 🐰
We will have our Local Love style market, it will be curated the same as any of our other markets and our applications are OPEN on our website.

This vendor is extra special to us, as they are hosting us tonight for our Vendor Social and for our Thursday Night, Night Markets from May-August!

This Brewery is right here in Okotoks and has a wonderful lineup of craft beers. They also have a kitchen, serve other local beverages, have a sweet line of merchandise and at the brewery they even have a kids corner! 
We are thrilled they are joining us, be sure to pop by and grab some weekend brews!

We love seeing our Big Rock Hoodie out and about.
If you ever see a crazy lady chasing you down and asking for a picture, it's likely one of us!

We sent out so many hoodies just before Christmas and are forever grateful.

We have had so many awesome people asking about other colors and designs. We are just in the process of getting the NEW collection up on our website. Slowly but surely.

Exciting Announcement Time!! In 2021, we set out on a journey with Local Love Co., fueled by a passion for creating something special within our community. Since then, it has been an incredible experience building this brand alongside all of you. Every market, product, and connection has been a testament to the love and support we’ve received. Now, after much reflection, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to pass the reins to two extraordinary women—Nicole and Amanda, effective December 2, 2024! They share the same vision and passion and have BIG plans for Local Love Co. We can’t wait to see where they take the business next. As for us, we’re not saying goodbye quite yet! We will still be very much involved in the coming months and of course during this year’s Christmas Market, so you’ll still see familiar faces and experience the same joyful spirit of the season that brings us all together. In the meantime we’ll be working with Nicole and Amanda behind the scenes, as they gear up for the takeover! Thank you for being a part of this beautiful journey with us.
