There’s nothing like a private property wedding! Especially when it’s lakeside in Muskoka. They are so much more work than getting married at a venue (think power, weather, tent, water, cutlery, furniture, rentals, building a kitchen, transportation of guests etc.) but wow, are they beyond magical. Found this photo @avephoto took of us “in action” and it means so much to me because the picture tells so much. 1. We’re laughing + having fun. We’ll bring the positive energy! If your wedding planner has you stressed out or is running around on your wedding day looking concerned, panicked, stressing other vendors out or trying to control everything … you don’t want it. You’ll notice, your guests will notice. There is nothing that makes me more sad- this will never be your experience working with us. 2. Wedding pros come up to us every season and say “most wedding planners are bossy and rude to us, but you’re not” - duh! Who would want that? Gross. Each wedding pro is a PRO. We love working together as a team to get you married. Trust me, you’ll want this too and you’ll notice when it’s missing. 3. Going above and beyond. This picture was taken during cocktail hour. You can see we are holding flowers. Part of this arrangement was used for the ceremony and wasn’t designated for reception (due to different locations and time). Yet, we knew our clients trusted us and we were confident we understood their vision. That combo is MAGIC!! Your wedding will instantly be better. Ashley looked at the flowers, and had a brilliant idea to attach them to the podium used for speeches and it looked sooooo much better. Our emergency kit has zip ties and floral scissors and we got to work. It’s the little things guests and clients notice. If this sounds like your ideal wedding day, you’re our people!
