Well I’m not much of a festive gal, so instead of a cheesy Christmas sweater photo, here’s some fun photos of me posing with my prized squash!! 🤣
The Georgia Candy Roaster is weighing in at 21 lbs and the Hubbard is 20 lbs. 😳 These squash were so much fun to grow. I’m going to crack into the Hubbard today and bring some to a dinner party. I’ll definitely be saving the seeds from these monsters!

Working on next year’s subscription offerings has me going through last year’s photos and dreaming of spring blooms.
I love the winter planning process of sorting through seeds, researching, reviewing notes and making decisions on what to grow. Planning for next year’s palate of colours and textures is one of my favourite parts of the process.
What spring bloom is your favourite? For me, the heavenly smell of stock always have me swooning, and the unfurling petals of a tulip is truly magical, but ranunculus are always my number one. Such an elegant flower, with its layers and layers of velvety petals, beautiful colours and outstanding vase life.

It was ‘bring your babe’ to work day on the farm! 💚
Ryan took down a bunch of spent flowers so I can clear and amend. Chores I used to do by hand, are no longer things I can do without a machine or some help.
Thankfully Ryan is always happy to help lighten my chore load. Growing this business has been such an amazing journey, and I could never have done it without this guy.🫶🏻
Sometimes if I bug him enough, I finally get I want!😉 😚

💫💫A big shout out to Isabelle for all your help this fall. I wouldn’t be slaying these farm chores without you. 💪🏻 💪🏻

Fall Workshops are starting next week! I am excited to announce, that I will be hosting workshops in both Golden, AND Invermere! A big thank you to the kind owners of Canadian Tire for inviting me to collaborate with them for a Community & Connections afternoon in their store. 🤍 Thank you to our good friends in Golden for having me back for some more crafty fun. 🤍
Here are the details:
In this workshop, you will use our farm-grown dried flowers and white pumpkins to create a beautiful centrepiece for your home. There will be an abundance of dried flowers and foliage to choose from. Join me and get inspired by Mother Nature’s textures and colours. You don’t need any experience; just let your creativity flow! I will guide you through sustainable floral techniques to create your one-of-a-kind dried flower pumpkin.

Invermere Canadain Tire: Sunday, October 6th / 1 pm -3 pm

Golden Rockwater: Wednesday Oct 9th / 6 pm-8 pm

Tulip Gudoshnick. I love this tulip for her dramatic stem length and big chunky blooms. Subscribers will find these beauties tucked in their bouquets today. I hope you all love them as much as I do.
