A garden miracle! I planted out these Dahlias seedlings a couple weeks ago. A couple days after I planted them the stems got soft and all the foliage died off. This happened gradually until the same thing happened to about 90% of them. I was a pretty defeated by this until a week later I started to see new growth coming up! Heres to happy miracles and dahlias! 🥂🌞🌼

Ive been a little quiet on here 😶 but things are in the ground and growing!!🌱
To be honest spring was a bit chaotic for me this spring. I decided after finishing my contract at work, to pursue my Master of Arts in Sustainability Studies, that I will be beginning this fall! To pivot as I transition to being a student (again!!) I have been gardening for clients, serving, getting my ~10,000 plants into the ground, and fighting off some of the wildlife that is trying to undo all my work!! 🐁🦝🦌🐇 Needless to say things are growing and I am patiently waiting and taking a little time where I can to rest. Here are a few shots of things around the garden 🫶 I'd say ignore the weeds in the photos, but hey! nobody is perfect!

Some years are like this 🌷and some are like this 🦌.. After a battle with 3 cheeky deer this spring my tulip patch got decimated...3 attempts of securing/reinforcing my fence and having it knocked down trying to save the tulips. An unfortunate reality of lost time, money, and the beauty that tulips bring this time of year. Hoping I can keep them in the ground for a couple years and let them build their bulb energy again. More to come this season but unfortunately no tulips 😢
