A delicious dinner party last night for some fabulous folks!!

Salad
⭐️ hot honey halloumi with strawberry balsamic dressing and a whole bunch of goodies like red onion, cucumber, pickled beats., tri colour peppers, pomegranate and blueberries!

Soup
⭐️ roasted butternut squash and apple soup with smoked pancetta, crème fraiche and chive oil

Main
⭐️ the signature herby braised short ribs!

Dessert
⭐️ biscoff sticky toffee pudding with biscoff mousse!

It’s funny - this week, every single client ordered short ribs for their main! 😅🤷🏼‍♀️🍽️ Plus my family decided they want short ribs as Christmas dinner too! Tis the season 🎄 🍖

⭐️ Asian crunch salad with a toasted sesame dressing
⭐️ seared scallops with pea puree, Meyer lemon gel and smoked pancetta
⭐️ chili crisp salmon with carrot and gochujang puree
⭐️ SHORT RIB!

A lovely dinner party in London, Ontario this week!

6 courses! So much fun 🤩

⭐️ snack - crostini board with a variety of dips and toppings: sweet ricotta, tomato confit, whipped feta with chive and garlic, olive tapenade, mushroom leek and onion dip, elotes dip, dill pickle and roasted red pepper hummus
⭐️ classic Cesar salad with a Parmesan crisp
⭐️ roasted butternut squash and apple soup with crème fraiche and chive oil
⭐️ the cutest pork belly bao
⭐️ tomato and basil pasta with homemade straciatella
⭐️ the classic herby red wine braised short rib
⭐️ Lindt chocolate tart with pistachio and white chocolate whipped ganache and raspberry crunch crumble

This one featured:

⭐️ pepper cured salami
⭐️ cured mini suet
⭐️ mild and hot Genoa
⭐️ balsamic bellavitano
⭐️ triple crème brie
⭐️ fig goat cheese
⭐️ dill havarti
⭐️ hot honey and old fashion grainy Dijon
⭐️ castelvetrano olives

Dropped off some lunch for the volunteers at the Grand Bend, community health centre and then some charcuterie for another long time client!

Trekked out to Long Point for this one! A lovely dinner party to celebrate a beautiful couples nuptials.

⭐️ hot honey halloumi salad with a lovely mixed salad with a Meyer lemon, pomegranate and honey vinaigrette. Lots of chopped veggies: cukes, orange and yellow peppers, pickled beets, sliced radish, blueberries, pomegranate and some marigolds FROM MY GARDEN STILL!

⭐️ roasted butternut squash and apple soup with a touch of red curry. Topped with creme fraiche, honey cinnamon roasted pumpkin seeds, smoked pancetta crumb and a garlic crostini!

⭐️ the siggy short ribs! You’ll be seeing lots of these in the coming weeks! Going to be a challenge to keep the plates looking fresh! Herby red wine braised short ribs with a jus from the braising liquids, pomme puree, asparagus and carrots topped with crispy leeks for some texture.

⭐️ biscoff sticky toffee pudding! Another fan fave and one you will be seeing lots of in the coming weeks. Tis the season! Topped with a biscoff mousse because ice cream doesn’t travel well 😉

Had the pleasure of serving a dinner party for a 50th birthday last night 🙂

For a snack we had a torched wagyu crostini with avocado and tomato confit. An Asian crunchy salad with a roasted sesame dressing was our started and for the main, a beautiful, grass fed strip loin with crispy pomme pave, red wine mushroom jus, asparagus, oyster mushrooms and dashi braised cippolini onions 🧅

A lovely seafood forward dinner party on my birthday (and my clients!)!

My phone camera must’ve had something on the lens because the pictures didn’t come out as crisp as I normally like and the colours seem a little off 😞 what’s important though is that everyone was happy!

To start we had an assorted crostini board with some wagyu on it! Yum!!

⭐️ pan seared scallops, pea puree, lemon gel, smoked pancetta
⭐️ Nobu’s miso black cod with steamed ponzu bok choy
⭐️ Mahi Mahi with zucchini mosaic, a microgreen salad with champagne citrus vinaigrette with white wine dill sauce
⭐️ a little upgrade on my Lindt chocolate tart 🙂 added a pistachio praline layer! With some raspberry gel, raspberry crunch crumb, roasted white chocolate and fresh raspberry

A beautiful dinner party for a returning client 💜

We started the night with a bunch of snacks. Two kind of chips with 3 different fresh salsas: tomato and corn salsa, edamame and cucumber salsa and kiwi pineapple salsa. We also had crispy shrimp hand rolls and some really delicious marinaded hot honey halloumi cubes.

For the dinner we had:

⭐️ classic ceasar salad with smoked pancetta and a Parmesan tuille
⭐️ butternut squash soup with pancetta, crème fraiche, chive oil and fresh grilled bread
⭐️ Nobu inspired miso black cod - 3 days of preparation. Elegant simplicity. Absolutely delicious.
⭐️ my signature short rib with jus from the braising liquid, pomme puree and honey thyme carrots
⭐️ flourless chocolate cake with raspberry crumble, pistachio praline, chocolate caramel sauce, roasted white chocolate and raspberry gel
